Lightning Ignites Palm Tree Fire in San Diego, Burns Two Acres
A flash of lightning. A stand of palm trees. Then a two-acre fire in suburban San Diego. During last night’s storm, crews from E92 were called to a vegetation fire along Highland Valley Road after reports that lightning had struck multiple palm trees.
