Men Attacked in Possible Antisemitic Hate Crime in San Jose
Two men were attacked in San Jose, California, on March 9, in an incident being investigated as a potential hate crime. Reports from ABC7 and KTVU said eyewitnesses observed two men waiting for a table and speaking Hebrew before they were attacked by three younger men. Footage filmed by bystander Keanu Kahrobaie shows two young men in dark T-shirts repeatedly punching a man in a white shirt, and another young man beating someone out of frame before the three regroup and run off. According to local reports and a post from the press office of California Governor Gavin Newsom, San Jose Police were investigating the incident.
