State Patrol Rescues Cheeky Runaway Dog With Help of Treats
A runaway dog from Caledonia was returned to its owner with the help of a neighbor and the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP), through the use of tasty treats. According to the OSHP, a trooper spotted Rufus, the lost dog, on State Route 98 and blocked traffic to corral the canine until a neighbor came to escort Rufus home. Footage released by the OSHP shows Rufus baring his belly in an attempt to evade capture, prompting laughter from his rescuers.
