Demonstrators said the protest was not about law enforcement, but about humanity. Democratic Representatives Joaquin Castro and Jasmine Crockett visited the Dilley detention center and met with the detained father and son. Following the visit, Castro called for the child’s release, stating, "Liam Ramos should be released immediately."
