Gov. Tim Walz is putting the blame — and the bill — on Washington after the Trump administration moved to end its immigration surge operation in the state. Walz says the federal government rolled out a surge, disrupted Minnesota’s systems, and is now trying to walk away without paying for the consequences: “The federal government needs to pay for what they broke here.”
