US Bids Locks In to Host 2031 FIFA Women's World Cup with 14 Stadiums

The United States Soccer Federation, in partnership with Mexico, Costa Rica, and Jamaica, submitted the sole bid to host the 2031 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Their proposal features 14 American stadiums including NFL icons like AT&T, SoFi, and MetLife, seven of which will be hosting the upcoming 2026 Men’s World Cup. With 20 core venues and nearly 50 stadiums across 36 metro areas, the bid highlights affordability with tickets starting fairly low starting at just $35 for cheapest seats in the opening round to $120 to $600 for the finals. Project is expected to cater around $4 billion in revenue. FIFA’s confirmation is expected in April 2026, marking a historic moment for North American and regional soccer growth.
