WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump blamed rival Kamala Harris for treating Mike Pence poorly!

In his recent interview with Fox News, the former president called out the present Vice President, "Now they have Kamala who they say have many deficiencies but she’s a nasty person, The way she treated Mike Pence was horrible.”

He added, "The way she treats people is horrible. But the way she treated Justice Kavanagh during the hearing, in the history of Congress nobody has been treated so badly."

Kamala Harris' 2020 vice presidential debate with Mike Pence

Donald Trump referred to Kamala Harris' interaction with then-vice president Mike Pence during the 2020 VP debate.

Pence interrupted Harris and demanded a straight answer, to which she said, "Mr Vice President, I’m speaking. I’m speaking.”

The clip from the interview was shared by a page supporting Harris' presidential campaign for the November 2024 election.

“In a stunning senile moment, Donald Trump just suggested it was Kamala Harris who treated Mike Pence poorly. Donald Trump clearly cannot remember anything. Retweet to make sure all Americans see this hypocritical and senile moment,” they captioned.

The users on social media were quick to respond and reminded that Trump allegedly let out angry protesters threaten Pence during a violent protest at Capitol Hill on January 6, 2021, reported The Guardian.

Interestingly, Pence has publicly confirmed that he won’t endorse Trump for the upcoming election.

In his earlier statement, the former vice president said, "Anyone who puts themselves over the Constitution should never be the president of the United States. And anyone who asks someone else to put themselves over the Constitution should never be the president of the United States again.”

Internet blasts Donald Trump for attacking Kamala Harris

Netizens expressed their take on Donald Trump's recent attack on Kamala Harris' behavior during the 2020 VP debate.

One user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "Notice, Trump never gives any credible evidence of accusations he makes and journalists let him mislead and lie. Disgusting."

"Trump hated Pence and wanted him hanged in front of the Capitol. What a deranged lunatic Trump is!" another slammed, while someone else wrote, "There he is again, pulling out the 'nasty woman' schtick."

"The big question, which is a very serious one, is this: When Trump lies at this level of irresponsibility & stupidity, does he realise what he is saying or is the brain is such decline that he really doesn't know?" questioned a critic. One user expressed, "I can't wait for Trump to see the way Kamala Harris treats him."

"Someone needs to get an official mental evaluation for Trump. Soon he won’t remember what country he lives in!" a person trolled the former president. "Did you all not see that debate? She treated pence like crap..." one said referring to the previous VP debate.

One person asked, "Does this criticism of Donald Trump's statement imply that Kamala Harris did treat Mike Pence well, or is it focused on Trump's perceived misremembering of events?"
