WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump once again voiced his support for legalizing marijuana in his home state of Florida.

The former president, during an appearance on 'Lex Fridman Show,' reiterated while acknowledging his recent post on Truth social.

Donald Trump emphasizes benefits of legalized marijuana

Donald Trump explained his take on marijuana legalization in Florida. "We can live with the marijuana,” he said, adding that the ballot initiative in Florida would be “very good.”

“Medical marijuana has been amazing. I’ve had friends, and I’ve had others and doctors telling me that it’s been absolutely amazing, the medical marijuana,” Trump told the host.

“It’s got to be a certain age, got to be a certain age to buy it. It’s got to be done in a very concerted, lawful way. And the way they’re doing in Florida, I think is going to be actually good,” he added.

Donald Trump also revealed that his campaign will be issuing a statement on marijuana policy in the coming days.

On Saturday, August 31, the Republican presidential nominee posted, "In Florida, like so many other States that have already given their approval, personal amounts of marijuana will be legalized for adults with Amendment 3."

He added, "Whether people like it or not, this will happen through the approval of the Voters, so it should be done correctly,” reports CNN.

"We need the State Legislature to responsibly create laws that prohibit the use of it in public spaces, so we do not smell marijuana everywhere we go, like we do in many of the Democrat run Cities," Trump continued.

"Opening the interview with "Wouldn't it be better if Congress ate mushrooms?" is amazing LMFAO" another felt.

One person chimed, "Lex asking Trump about psychedelics was actually hilarious."

"Asking Trump about weed and UFO's, Joe Rogan must be proud," another said.

"Joe has checked out. He's just goes to the beach and thinks he looks good in a bathing suit. And he doesn't." That is priceless," one shared Trump poking fun at President Biden.

"If you want longer interview of Trump , just go to other hundreds of videos out there. If you want longer interview of Kamala, just have faith and dream about it," one remarked.
