WASHINGTON, DC: An old clip of Barron Trump has resurfaced online, showing him speaking with a "Slovenian" accent as a four-year-old.

The 18-year-old has mostly kept a low profile in comparison to his half-siblings and other family members.

But people have now begun to take interest in the now-adult son of former president Donald Trump, who is running for the White House again, challenging the Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris.

A video was shared on X by a user named @David_J_Levy that showed little Barron in April 2010, as reported by Newsweek.

The user wrote in the caption, “Here's footage of Barron speaking at the age of 4 – with a Slovenian accent, due to his lack of meaningful interaction with people other than his mother. For his sake, I hope that his father largely remained a background character in his life.”

The clip was reportedly taken from CNN's 'Larry King Live,' showing the son of Melania and Donald Trump saying “hi” to King.

He then picked up a suitcase and said, “I like my suitcase,” before asking his mother, “I have to go to school now?”

Melania replied, “Yeah, you will have lunch and then you go to school.”

The clip also showed the Republican leader telling his child, “Now you can do reading, writing, and arithmetic.”

King then remarked, “He has an accent.”

To which, the former first lady stated, “He does. He spends most of the time with me.”

“He speaks three languages, actually,” Melania revealed as Trump asserted that their son is a "smart one."

Netizens react to Donald Trump's son Barron's video

People online started commenting on Barron Trump’s video as soon as it went viral.

“My children spoke Spanish before English, learning to speak. Their nanny taught them. Since it wasn't spoken in my home, they forgot most of what they learned. It's great knowing two languages. One of my first girlfriends from Virginia, a true ultra-weathly family of Blue Bloods whose father was president of Sterling Films had her raised in a boarding school in Mexico. She spoke Spanish well. It's great knowing as many languages as possible,” a reader below the Newsweek article said.

Another reader posted, “That accent is another reason I like him for Lurch in the next Addam's Family movie, even though that's never much of a speaking part, an accented sneer would bring something. Barron, don't turn down the chance to be associated with a far more classy family than the one you were born into.”

A third one remarked, “So what? He speaks the language he should learn the accent.”

A fourth one mentioned, “I wonder if he still has the accent.  Or how much he has interacted with other 18-year-olds that aren't trust fund babies Like his father, he likely has daddy issues and is overly attached to his mother.  DJT even has his mom's hairdo....”

“Jeeze. All it shows is that he was raised mama's boy. I bet you if you measured in hours the time Donald spent with him from age 0 to 18, you'd be barely into double digits,” a fifth one added.
