PARIS FRANCE: Simone Biles, who recently secured her sixth Olympic gold medal at the 2024 games in Paris, reportedly flashed her iconic goat pendant.

The gymnast brought the pendant, which is in the shape of a goat, to Bercy Arena and decided that if everything went well at the 2024 Olympics, she would reveal it. After winning her all-around Olympic title, she wore it to celebrate, USA Today reported.

Biles' gold medal on Thursday, August 1, marked her 39th career medal across the Olympics and world championships, further cementing her status as the most decorated gymnast in history.

Since winning her first national title in 2013, she has dominated every all-around competition she has participated in.

Simone Biles explains backstory behind her 'GOAT' pendant

Biles explained that she wore the goat pendant after winning her second gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics as a reminder of those who doubted her.

She said after her victory at Bercy Arena, "Itโ€™s a little ode [the goat pendant] ... I mean, a lot of people love it. They always call me the GOAT [greatest of all time], so I thought it would be really special if I got one made."

She emphasized, "The haters hate it, so I love that even more. Itโ€™s just a special part of me that I have here. In the [Olympic] village I have a stuffed goat. Just to get a reminder. Like: โ€˜You can go out there, you can do it. Youโ€™ve done it before. So letโ€™s go.โ€™"

According to an Instagram post by Janet Heller Fine Jewelry, the California jewelry company that created the pendant at Biles' request, it features 546 diamonds embedded in its body.

This isn't the first time Biles has used the goat theme as she wore a leotard with a goat motif at the 2021 US national championships.

"Crafted with meticulous precision, this piece reflects her dedication, perseverance, and the spirit that has inspired generations," the company wrote in the post. "Each piece, crafted by Janet Heller Fine Jewelry, is a testament to the enduring legacy of a true champion. As the Paris 2024 Olympics unfold, all eyes are on Simone Biles โ€“ the GOAT both on and off the mat."

After winning her gold medal on Thursday, August 1, Biles became the first American to win the Olympic all-around gold medal more than once. At 27 years old, Biles now holds six Olympic gold medals and nine medals overall at the games.

Simone Biles secure the 9th Olympic medal of her career

Simone Biles overcame a rare mistake on the uneven bars to secure the ninth Olympic medal of her career, the DailyMail reported.

The Texas native bounced back with stellar performances on the beam and floor, fending off competition from Andrade and solidifying her status as the greatest gymnast in US history.

She achieved this remarkable feat with her proud husband, Jonathan Owens, watching from the stands. Owens, who was granted time off from the Chicago Bears training camp, traveled to Europe to support her.

During the second rotation of the event, Biles was visibly frustrated after making an error on a transition on the uneven bars, which briefly allowed Andrade to take the lead.

Upset, she appeared to mouth a curse to her coach as she exited the podium. However, the Olympics legend quickly demonstrated why she's considered one of the greatest by scoring 14.566 on the beam and 15.066 on the floor, reclaiming the victory from Andrade.

Fans hail 'queen' Simone Biles as she shows off her goat pendant

One user wrote, "Simone is so honest and human. That is what we love about her. Of course, her gymnastics are great, but it's her character and kindness that really stands out!!"

Another user wrote, "Queen behavior."

One person shared, "She's one of a kind. GOAT!" Another added, "All the goats want to be Simone ๐Ÿ.''

One commented, "Well you are the goat so you can say it loud and proud ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ," while another asserted, "She is just getting started - she is going to do some truly great things I just know it."
