PARIS, FRANCE: Simone Biles has again led the US women’s gymnastics team to win gold at Olympics.

After settling for a silver medal in 2021 Tokyo, the legend once again raised her bar to make sure the team finishes at the top at Paris 2024 Olympics on Tuesday, July 30.

Italy finished second and created history by winning silver while Brazil completed the podium, winning its first Olympic team medal (bronze) for their nation since 1928.

Biles is now the most successful American gymnast of all time in the Olympic Games with eight medals.

The 27-year-old earlier shared the record with ‘Magnificent Seven’ star Shannon Miller with seven Olympic medals.

Biles' tally reaches 38 if the World Championships and Olympics medals are combined, according to USA TODAY.

Simone Biles earlier described the ongoing Paris Olympics as a “redemption tour” for the Tokyo returners.

“I feel like we all have more to give and our Tokyo performances weren’t the best,” Biles said at the Olympic trials in Minneapolis.

“We weren’t under the best circumstances, either, but I feel like we have a lot of weight on our shoulders to go out there and prove that we’re better athletes,” she said then.

Now finally, Biles, Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, and Hezly Rivera pulled off the gold medal for Team USA.
