Karoline Leavitt's husband Nicholas Riccio has amazing tale of perseverance and achievement

The youngest White House Press Secretary got engaged to her longtime partner Nicholas Riccio, on December 25, 2023. Leavitt calls herself a "wife" on her Instagram account, although it's unclear when they got legally married.

Riccio, who is over 30 years older than Leavitt, has a remarkable tale of perseverance and accomplishment. He went from being homeless to creating Riccio Enterprises LLC, a multimillion-dollar real estate company.

According to a 2005 article on Seacoastonline.com, Riccio's journey started in 1993 when he and his mother stumbled onto M Street while driving through Hampton Beach, New Hampshire.

The neighborhood was in bad condition; many of the buildings were dilapidated, and the ones that weren't were falling apart fast. Riccio sensed potential despite the somber scene.

He purchased one of the buildings and began executing renovations, although he lacked the funds at the moment. By 2005, Riccio owned 15 buildings on M Street with 70 apartments, and he had completely renovated the neighborhood.

Beyond those acquisitions, Riccio had bigger plans: he wanted to eventually purchase and remodel all 21 of the street's properties. Riccio also has real estate holdings from Boston to the White Mountains alongside Hampton Beach.

Riccio's education and motivation have been key factors in his success. Besides attending Plymouth State University, Riccio also sought guidance from influential entrepreneurs.

Among others, Riccio corresponded with former owners of the Los Angeles Dodgers (Frank McCourt), Baltimore Orioles (Peter Angelos), Phoenix Suns, and Arizona Diamondbacks (Jerry Colangelo), acquiring significant insight that shaped his career.

"It’s true when they say there’s nothing comparable to the love you feel for your child. My heart has grown bigger than I ever imagined possible. Babies are the ultimate blessing and I’m bursting with gratitude for our beautiful, happy, healthy boy."

"Nicholas Robert aka Niko. 🤗 My son. I love you," Leavitt added.

Three months after giving birth to her son Nicholas "Niko" Robert, the 27-year-old mother of one was named the press secretary for the president in November.

As the youngest person to hold the post, she will be closely watched in her role as she will be managing daily interactions with the media, appearing on television, and handling televised briefings with the White House press corps.

Despite being a seasoned political operative, Leavitt has acknowledged that she is concerned about juggling her career and becoming a new mother. She confessed that she worries that her work may force her to miss time with her child.

Leavitt opened up about her struggles as she gets ready to enter the White House in a series of candid Instagram postings. She said she had been "praying" about the matter every day, per Daily Mail.

"Do you worry about the demands of the job and missing out on moments with your son?" asked one follower, to which, Leavitt replied, "Yes. I literally pray about this everyday. It's very difficult but it's also all I know."
