LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a recent comedic jab at former President Donald Trump, Seth Meyers, the host of 'Late Night' aimed Trump's April Fools' Day prank, or lack thereof.

On Tuesday's episode of 'Late Night', Meyers humorously dissected Trump's attempt at a joke, highlighting the absence of the customary phrase, 'April Fools'.

Meyers kicked off the segment with his signature charm, greeting viewers with a cheerful "Good evening" before diving into the day's news. Among the topics discussed was a rally held by Trump in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where Meyers couldn't resist poking fun at Trump's choice of headwear, dubbing it "the dumbest hat."

Trump's April Fools' day email fails to land with recipients

Trump's prank, executed via an email to his supporters, featured a subject line that read, "I’m suspending my campaign…," prompting initial concern or curiosity among recipients. However, upon opening the email, they were met with the phrase, "Just Kidding."

Meyers wasted no time in pointing out the oversight, quipping, "Just kid’– I think you mean ‘April Fools'. Why can’t you do anything normal?" Meyers then hilariously channeled his inner Trump voice to further exaggerate the absurdity of the situation, imagining Trump's fictional monologue, "I’m suspending my campaign. Faked you out! On this, the opening day of the month after March."

While some may argue that the email did include a reference to April Fools' Day – "Just Kidding – Happy April Fools Day!" – Meyers emphasized the comedic potential that Trump missed by failing to utter the customary phrase after pulling off a prank.

Meyers sounds alarm on Trump's continued access to juror information

Beyond the humor, Meyers also touched upon a more serious issue related to Trump's legal matters. He expressed concern over reports suggesting that Trump may still have access to the names of jurors in his ongoing criminal trial concerning hush money payments.

Comparing the scenario to giving "Cruella de Vil the address of the local animal shelter," Meyers injected a touch of dark humor into the segment, highlighting the potential danger of providing sensitive information to someone with questionable intentions.

Through his comedic critique, Meyers entertained his audience and highlighted the peculiarities of Trump's actions, blending humor with social commentary.
