Willie Robertson claims being pro-Trump is 'cool' in 2024, Internet says 'love his perspective'
WASHINGTON, DC: Reality television star Willie Robertson reflected on GOP nominee Donald Trump's decisive victory in the 2024 general election during his interview with right-wing commentator Tucker Carlson, released on Monday, November 25.
People were more comfortable with openly supporting Trump in 2024 than they were in the previous election cycles, claimed Robertson, noting that it was "kind of cool" at present.
The great Willie Robertson.

Willie Robertson's take on 2024 election
Willie Robertson was confident that Donald Trump would prevail over his Democratic rival, Vice President Kamala Harris, on Election Day. He told Carlson that he had called the race “at 8.33 central time” after seeing North Carolina and Virginia “sitting sober.”
According to the Washington Examiner, Trump only lost Virginia among the two by less than six percentage points.
Robertson insisted he had "a good sense" of Trump's victory, saying, "I was just kind of looking at the culture and looking at what people are saying and it’s like ‘he’s got a lot of people that are,’ you know... 'Cause it wasn’t as weird as it was before. Now, it’s kind of cool. You weren’t ostracized as much.”
Willie Robertson comments on Donald Trump's 2020 loss
The 'Duck Dynasty' star differentiated between the last election cycle and the one in 2020 when he believed "people did not like" the then-incumbent Donald Trump during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Robertson had predicted that Trump would be reinstated in the White House in 2020 "unless something really weird happens," which turned out to be the global pandemic.
Following the MAGA rhetoric, Carlson asked Robertson if he knew anyone in his home state of Louisiana who had questioned the legitimacy of the 2020 election.
"We all got questions," he replied, adding that he knew "tons of people" who had similar inquiries over time. Robertson also joked that he did not realize “it was a crime” to check that the results of the election were legitimate.
Conservatives praise Willie Robertson for his belief in MAGA values
Netizens, especially conservatives, reacting to Willie Robertson's interview with Tucker Carlson on the social media platform X, appreciated Robertson for promoting MAGA "values." The following tweets demonstrate their takes.
"We have to give these guys credit, they were Maga culture before it was ever even cool, and they found a lot of Americans who felt disaffected and resonated with them. God bless them," wrote a user.
