WWE legends The Undertaker and Kane join forces to endorse 'Hall of Famer' Trump: 'The choice is yours'

PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Talk about a crossover nobody (well, maybe some) saw coming. WWE icons The Undertaker and Kane just dropped an election promo for their old pal — none other than former president Donald Trump

In a video posted to social media on Friday, October 18, The Undertaker—whose real name is Mark Callaway—joined forces with his old wrestling buddy Kane—real name Glenn Jacobs—and offered a clear message about the upcoming election.

Of course, the whole thing went viral, but it came after fellow WWE star Dave Bautista took some pretty intense jabs at Trump earlier in the week.

WWE meets politics

In the clip, The Undertaker stood side by side with Kane — who’s now mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. And right next to them was Trump.

The trio decided to spice things up with a WWE-style promo for voters. The Undertaker looked straight at the camera and laid out their pitch, “All right everyone. Novermber 5 – ElectionMania. The choice is yours. You can go with President Trump, Kane, and The Undertaker or you can take Kamala Harris, Dave Bautista, and Tim Walz. Choose wisely – the nation depends on it.”

Kane nodded in agreement before Trump jumped in to say, “And that should be an easy choice.”



 

It’s not every day you see the former president sitting between the Brothers of Destruction. It definitely felt like a blast from the past. And don’t forget, Trump isn’t just any random politician to pro-wrestling fans. He’s actually in the WWE Hall of Fame!

Yep, Trump has his own place in WWE history. Back in the day, he made appearances at a bunch of early WrestleMania events. One of the wildest moments? WrestleMania 23’s “Battle of the Billionaires” where he took on Vince McMahon.

Well, technically Trump had Bobby Lashley fight for him against Umaga, but the stakes were personal -- whoever lost had to get their head shaved. Trump won that one and proceeded to shave McMahon's head. It’s one of those classic TV spectacles that will be forever etched in the fans' memories.



 

What's more? His Atlantic City Trump Tower even hosted WrestleMania 4 and 5, only adding to his wrestling street cred. Fast forward a few years, and Trump went from “You’re fired!” on 'The Apprentice' to being sworn in as the 45th President of the United States. Notably, he's the first WWE Hall of Famer to do so.

Dave Bautista takes shots at Donald Trump campaign

It's worth noting that Dave Bautista had a few choice words for Donald Trump before The Undertaker’s promo even went up. The former WWE star posted a video where he went full-on verbal smackdown against Trump, the New York Post reported.

“Fellas, we gotta talk," he said during an appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'.

"A lot of men seem to think that Donald Trump is some kind of tough guy. He’s not. I mean, look at him, he wears more makeup than Dolly Parton. He whines like a baby. The guy is afraid of birds. Donald Trump had his daddy pay a doctor to say his little feet hurt, so he could dodge the draft. Look at that gut. It’s like a garbage bag full of buttermilk.”



 

Of course, Trump’s team wasn’t just going to sit back and let Bautista have the last word. His campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung clapped back in a statement to Fox News, calling Bautista a “stone-cold loser” and taking a jab at his wrestling career.

“President Trump is a WWE Hall of Famer. Dave Bautista is not, because he is a stone-cold loser who was unprofessional and took his ball home when he refused to put over younger talent. He then returned to the company that made him, and he found out quickly that he couldn’t wrestle and has no mic skills whatsoever," Cheung said.

That said, Kane made a pretty surprising career move of his own. WWE fans knew him for his choke slams and unleashing terror on the squared circle, but these days he’s better known as the mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. He’s been serving as its Republican mayor since 2018.
