According to the Albemarle County Police Department, Grace Kelley was also charged with driving without a license, destruction of property with intent, failure to use headlights, and setting in motion a vehicle with intent to commit a crime.

The arrest stems from an incident involving the theft of a church van belonging to the Ground Zero Church of the Nazarene in Charlottesville, Virginia.

The church’s lead pastor, Kent Hart, confirmed the details on a GoFundMe page established to raise funds for a replacement van.

"On October 27th, our green church van and trailer were stolen from in front of our pastor's home by Grace Pauline Kelley," Hart shared.

"Grace is currently in police custody. The van was damaged during the theft, and after being inspected by a body shop, the insurance has determined it to be a total loss," Hart added.

He continued, "We want the community to know that on a personal level, we have forgiven Grace Kelley."

Despite the theft, the church has chosen to forgive Kelley. "Even though we have suffered that loss, we're just really hoping the community helps us out," Hart told People.

"I’m not sure what we would get from Grace, as far as you know, replacement, and we’re not really even going that way. We’re just forgiving her, and we’re trusting the Lord to provide for our needs," he added.

According to The Daily Progress, Hart reportedly pursued Kelley when he saw the stolen van leaving his driveway, following her onto Virginia Route 20 where he attempted to block her path with his Chevrolet Yukon.

This marks Kelley's third arrest in 2024.

A troubled year for Grace Kelley after multiple arrests

In August, Grace Kelley was detained in Georgia on charges including fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, driving with a suspended license, and improper use of motorcycle equipment.

She was released on a $2,750 bond the following day.

Earlier in the year, Kelley faced legal issues in Alabama, where she was arrested in April for indecent exposure and obstructing governmental operations.

According to People, records show that Kelley was accused of “exposing her breasts and lower body” at a busy intersection in Millbrook and refusing to identify herself when officers attempted to arrest her, according to charging documents obtained by AL.com.

A few days later, on April 11, she faced additional charges of "soliciting prostitution" for allegedly exposing "her breasts and lower body" on a busy highway.

While the solicitation charge was later dropped, Kelley pleaded guilty to public lewdness and obstructing government operations.

Her sentencing included a suspended 90-day jail term for public lewdness and 60 days in jail for obstructing government operations, after which she was released on May 23.
