Wynonna Judd’s daughter Grace Kelley arrested again four months after facing indecent exposure charges
CAROLL COUNTY, GEORGIA: Wynonna Judd's daughter Grace Kelley was taken into custody on Saturday, August 3, three months after she was first detained for alleged indecent exposure.
Grace, daughter of Judd and her first husband Arch Kelley III, has seen her share of legal troubles when she was jailed for exposing herself on an Alabama major highway in April, per Page Six.
Wynonna Judd's troubled daughter Grace Kelley arrested again
Grace Kelley, the 28-year-old daughter of Wynonna Judd was charged on Saturday, August 3, with three misdemeanor counts of trying to elude a police officer, driving with a suspended or revoked license, and using motorcycle equipment incorrectly, according to Fox News Digital.
Grace was taken into custody and lodged in Carroll County Jail in Georgia but was released on a $2,750 bond.
Judd, 60, has been silent about her daughter's most recent legal issues but had previously addressed Grace's prior arrest history.
Grace Kelley arrested earlier for indecent exposure
The latest Carroll County, Georgia, arrest occurred around four months after Grace Kelley was taken into custody on April 5 for allegedly exposing herself on a roadway in Millbrook, Alabama.
According to charging records, Kelley showed off her lower body and breasts near a busy intersection of Highway 14 and Interstate 65, per Al.com.
The outlet reported at the time, "When officers tried to arrest her, she would not identify herself and sat down on the roadside, refusing to comply with police."
PK Johnson, the chief of police in Millbrook, stated that Kelley was holding a sign that said, 'Ride for a Ride' while she was nude. In her mugshot, her face looked bruised and swollen, but it was unclear how she was hurt.
She was being held at the time on two counts of disrupting government operations and indecent exposure.
The famous country singer has been "working so hard to reestablish her relationship with Grace," said a source who revealed at the time that she was "very distraught" about her child's incarceration, per OK! Magazine.
It was later discovered that Grace was charged with soliciting prostitution in addition to not being released from custody for 12 days following the arrest.
According to the Daily Mail, Kelley appeared at the Millbrook Municipal Court later that month where the prostitution charges were dropped and the indecent exposure charge was downgraded to the lesser offense of lewd conduct.
Kelley was sentenced to 90 days in jail with a $200 fine for the alleged indecent behavior. She was also exempt from having to register as a sexual offender.
She was sentenced to 90 days in prison, with 30 days suspended, and a $500 fine for interfering with official business.
Grace Kelley's long history of crime
Grace Kelley has already dealt with a number of legal issues. According to InTouch Weekly, she was detained in 2015 outside of a Walgreens in Nashville, Tennessee, on suspicion of promoting meth manufacturing.
After entering a plea deal in May 2017 for the offenses of methamphetamine manufacturing, distribution, sale, and possession, Kelley was given an eight-year jail term in the West Tennessee State Penitentiary.
Although she was given an early release in 2020, she was arrested again for a probation breach in 2021.
After spending the ensuing years behind bars, she gave birth to a daughter, Kaliyah Chanel, in 2022, who is being raised by Judd.
