NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: New York Attorney General Letitia James requested Judge Arthur Engoron on Friday, April 19, to nullify the $175 million bond that Donald Trump was required to pay in April. She argued that Trump's insurance company could not support the bond as it doesn't have enough funds.

Following the court filing by James, conservative commentator Mark R Levin took to his X account, writing, "Letisha James is a dangerous, psychopath. A disgusting Stalinist."

Mark Levin calls for disbarment inquiry into Letitia James

Levin continued in his post, "And the New York bar should be ashamed of such a tyrant and open a disbarment inquiry immediately. But, of course, they'd probably have to remove most of their Democrat Party judges, too."

To add context, James, reportedly, urged Judge Engoron to issue a new bond and compel Trump to pay it within seven days using a different insurance company.

Initially prepared to seize Trump Tower, James faced a setback when Trump successfully appealed the $454 million judgment and saw a reduction in the bond amount.

It was alleged that she was aiming to revisit seizing his assets while also attempting to undermine Trump's appeal.

A hearing regarding the fate of the Knight Specialty Insurance Company-backed bond is scheduled for April 15, as reported by National Review. Given Judge Engoron's previous stance against Trump, it's likely that James will succeed in her efforts.

According to National Review, James contended that the current insurance company has not proven its "financial capacity" to cover the bond if Trump fails to do so.

Notably, the company's reported net worth is only $138 million, which falls short by over $35 million compared to the bond's size.

The filing accuses Knight Specialty Insurance of utilizing a "shadow" company based in the Cayman Islands to create the illusion of being more financially stable than it truly is.

Mark Levin's statements elicit divided reactions on social media

Levin's comments stirred up a polarized response on social media

One person said, "How DARE she practice ACTUAL law and order?!?!?!"

One suggested, "James should sue you for defamation,"

Another person said, "Please shut up. You are such a joke at this point."

Another said, "Hey Mark, here's a wild theory Maybe Trump is a career criminal who, through more than 4000 court battles in his life, has evaded justice and consequence, and Letitia James is just doing her job legitimately. How many times did you speak out in trumps other 4000 cases?"

On the other hand, one viewer supported Levin, saying, "The judiciary is fully tainted in the people’s republic of New York."

Another said, "Congress is evil. They keep leaving so Dems take over and keep Trump off the ticket . This country has gone mad."

"Too bad there are no enterprisingly creative and smart attorneys in New York who can strategically do something to stop or throw her or the current offense off balance!" read one comment.
