NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: President Joe Biden took to X (formerly Twitter) to attack his predecessor Donald Trump and his "Make America Great Again" (MAGA) followers on March 6, the day after both of them enjoyed major victories on Super Tuesday primary contests.

With Nikki Haley withdrawing from the GOP presidential candidate race on the same day, a Trump-Biden rematch in November appears increasingly likely.

Biden's recent jab at Trump further escalates their media feud, while the announcement of a presidential debate between the two remains pending.

Biden recently shared a screenshot of a post made by Trump on Truth Social back in January from his personal social media account. In the post, Trump criticized both the President and his rival, Haley.

Trump's post read, "Nikki 'Birdbrain' Haley is very bad for the Republican Party and, indeed, our Country. Her False Statements, Derogatory Comments, and Humiliating Public Loss is demeaning to True American Patriots."

"Her anger should be aimed at her Third Rate Political Consultants and, more importantly, Crooked Joe Biden and those that are destroying our Country - NOT THE PEOPLE WHO WILL SAVE IT. I knew Nikki well, she was average at best, is not the one to take on World Leaders, and she never did. That was up to me, and that is why they respected the United States." [sic]

"When I ran for Office and won, I noticed that the losing Candidate's 'Donors' would immediately come to me, and want to 'help out.' This is standard in Politics, but no longer with me," he continued.

"Anybody that makes a 'Contribution' to Birdbrain, from this moment forth, will be permanently barred from the MAGA camp. We don't want them, and will not accept them, because we Put America First, and ALWAYS WILL!" Trump concluded.

The incumbent accused the former President of being divisive, writing in his post, "You don’t have to agree with me on everything to know MAGA extremism is a threat to this country. We need everyone on board—join our campaign: https://joe.link/3wAPdFq"

Internet reacts to Joe Biden's tweet

Netizens hit back at Biden himself, highlighting the "threat" he brought upon the country with his administration's management of illegal immigration.

"More divisive rhetoric from Joe Biden," wrote a user. "As for threats to our country, he’s opened the border and allowed in over 7 million illegals. Many innocent Americans have been mųrdered by these illegals. Biden doesn’t care. Just like he doesn’t care that he’s ruined the US economy."

"Transporting over 300K illegal immigrants into our country via plane is treason and the real continued threat to our country," slammed another.

A user also enquired, "How is wanting to make America great again a threat to America?"

"What does MAGA mean, Joe? MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN / You’re the one leaving our border wide open and flying 300,000+ illegal aliens into our country to aid the invasion. Who’s the real threat?" stated another user.

"Joe, you and the democrats are burning America down to the ground. You're allowing an invasion to happen. You have let in criminals and terrorists. And you want to call us extreme? You're actually ruining America. You are," alleged another MAGA supporter.
