NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Robert F Kennedy Jr recently released a video on his X account, revealing a bizarre incident that took place a decade ago, as per The Guardian.

The video, which appears to be an attempt to preempt an upcoming New Yorker article, captures a candid conversation between Kennedy and Roseanne Barr.

During the conversation, Kennedy recounts a strange tale involving a dead bear cub and Central Park. The conversation sparked a wave of meme reactions across social media that showed how this story was weird even for someone like Barr.

Roseanne Kennedy explained that he stumbled upon the bear cub while driving to Goshen, New York, for a falconry outing. "A woman in a van in front of me hit a bear and killed it—a young bear," Kennedy recalls.

He decided to take the bear with him, planning to skin it and store the meat, as it was legal to do so with roadkill in New York State. However, his plans were interrupted by an unexpected change in schedule.

Instead of returning home, Kennedy had to head straight to a dinner at Peter Luger Steakhouse in New York City, followed by a flight.

With the bear in his car, Kennedy faced a dilemma. Not wanting to leave the bear in the car, he concocted an idea that he now attributes to a "little bit of the redneck" in him.

He suggested placing the bear in Central Park, making it look like it had been hit by a bicycle. Kennedy insists that he hadn't been drinking at the time, but acknowledges that his companions, who were drinking, thought the idea was "great."

The following day, the story exploded across media outlets. "It was on every television station, the front page of every paper," Kennedy recounts. The scene in Central Park was chaotic, with police cars, yellow tape, and even helicopters circling overhead.

Authorities were investigating the scene, even planning to fingerprint a bike left at the scene. Kennedy, realizing the gravity of the situation, was concerned because his fingerprints were all over the bike.

The story eventually faded from public attention, but it was recently resurrected when the New Yorker reached out to Kennedy for details.

The video conversation with Barr has drawn significant attention, not only because of the bizarre nature of the story but also due to Barr's visible discomfort during the retelling.

Barr, known for her controversial career, including a high-profile firing from the revival of her sitcom 'Roseanne' in 2018 after making a racist statement on Twitter, seemed taken aback by Kennedy's tale.

A sixth user narrated the situation with a meme, stating, "Narrator: It was at this moment that Roseanne realized RFK Jr had outcrazied her," alongside a photo of Barr's look of disbelief.

The humor continued with another comment, "In which @RobertKennedyJr tells Roseanne about the time he drove around for hours with a dead bear cub in his car and then dumped the carcass in Central Park (as a joke?!??). Super serious stuff here, folks…. When you get a reaction like this from Roseanne of all people:" accompanied by a photo of Barr's unusual reaction.

Another user jokingly added, "A worm in his brain, and now a dead bear in Central Park. Even Roseanne Barr thinks he’s weird," sharing a clip of the interview.
