WASHINGTON, DC: President Joe Biden's decision to step down from his 2024 election campaign and endorse Vice President Kamala Harris has stirred significant speculation and commentary.

Staunch Donald Trump supporter Roseanne Barr believes Harris will not end up on the ticket.

Roseanne Barr thinks Michelle Obama will become Democratic nominee

"It doesn’t really matter who the Democrats choose because the president is [Barack] Obama, and he’s in his third term now, and he’ll be running for his fourth term," Roseanne Barr claimed during an interview with Newsmax host Todd Starnes.

She echoed a theory that the former president has been influencing the Biden administration behind the scenes.

"You know, they always project exactly what their own sins are onto the other," she continued.

"This is his third term, and I hope his fans are enjoying it. And his fourth term no matter who he appoints is going to be even worse."

Starnes then brought up rumors that Michelle Obama could potentially be the nominee and asked Barr how she thinks that scenario would unfold as the election cycle progresses.

"Well, that’s what I think they’ll probably do with Hillary [Clinton] as vice in their open primary. I think it’s going to be a big show that everybody needs to bring their popcorn to. It’s going to be very entertaining," Barr replied.

Ted Cruz joins in speculation over Michelle Obama's presidential run

The conservative comedian isn't the first Republican to suggest Michelle Obama, 60, might run for president.

Texas Senator Ted Cruz has floated this theory multiple times over the past year. Last September, Cruz stated that he believed the "odds are very significant" that President Biden would be dropped and Michelle would "be their candidate".

"I think they’re gonna look to Michelle Obama as the savior to come in. And I think if that happens, that would be very, very dangerous. Every time I see a Democrat or one of their puppets in the press begin to point out the problems with Joe Biden.. the chances of that go up and up and up."

Despite doubts about Harris being the Democratic nominee, her supporters have raised roughly $100 million for her campaign since President Biden announced he would be leaving the race. She has also garnered the support of major political figures, including Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

“Officially, I have seen Kamala Harris’ strength and courage as a champion for working families, notably fighting for a woman’s right to choose," Pelosi praised the Vice President. "Politically, make no mistake: Kamala Harris as a woman in politics is brilliantly astute – and I have full confidence that she will lead us to victory in November."

Internet reacts to Roseanne Barr's political predictions

Following Roseanne Barr's prediction about the potential Michelle Obama-Hillary Clinton ticket, social media erupted with reactions. Users questioned her credibility, mocked her predictions, and expressed skepticism over her political insights.

A social media user tweeted, "Who wouldn’t call on Roseanne Barr for political analysis."

A second said, "Weird how some people just believe whatever scares them to think about."

A third claimed, "Where would one place a bet on this?"

"Guess God told her," mocked a user.

"POLITICS IS NOT HER FORTE," stated an individual.
