MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: During the late 1980s and into the late 1990s, Roseanne Barr captivated audiences and broke new ground for women in comedy and television with her groundbreaking sitcom, 'Roseanne'.

However, fast forward to today, and Roseanne Barr finds herself in a vastly different spotlight as she's enthusiastically promoting the interests of Donald Trump's supporters at Mar-a-Lago - and Jimmy Kimmel appeared unfazed by this development.

Roseanne Barr encourages college dropouts at Donald Trump fundraiser

"Trump hosted a star-studded fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago last night for a MAGA robot named Kari Lake," Kimmel disclosed on an April 4 episode of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!', describing the event as a gathering of notable personalities, with Barr taking the spotlight.

In a video clip shared from the fundraiser, Barr, who once identified as a proud Democrat until 2008, urged an ambiguous audience to "please drop out of college because it's going to ruin your lives."

Clarifying that colleges "don't teach you anything worthwhile", Barr pledged to assist anyone who opted to drop out of school and sought her support.

"Do me a favor drop out they don't teach you nothing good. Uh, email me or Twitter me or whatever you call me, and I'll help you with your life but you got to get out of college cuz it isn't nothing but devil worshiping, baby blood-drinking Democrat donors," Barr was seen saying in the video.

She concluded her remarks—positioned in front of an oil painting depicting Trump in a tennis sweater—with a resounding "Love ya!" This gesture, Kimmel and his producers interpreted as a scene straight out of a new episode of 'The Conners'.

“Seems like she’s doing great,” Kimmel said with a laugh.

He added, “I remember a time when Roseanne was a big Democrat donor. She campaigned for Bill Clinton, she gave lots of money… Of course, I remember a time when Donald Trump was a Democrat, too."
