MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: On Thursday's episode of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live', Jimmy Kimmel expressed his earnest desire for Donald Trump's upcoming hush money trial to be the one that finally brings him down. The trial, which centers around the payments Trump made to former adult film actress Stormy Daniels, is scheduled for April 15.

Addressing his audience, Kimmel remarked, "I feel like we all want to see him taken down by the porn-star one. Right?"

He then humorously referenced Trump's infamous "grab'em by the p***y" remark, saying, "Grab him by the mushroom, Stormy!"

Jimmy Kimmel mocks Trump's failed legal defense in Stormy Daniels case

Kimmel arrived at the topic by discussing Trump's recent legal setbacks, saying, “Oh man, do I feel for him."

“Over the past 24 hours, Donald Trump had not one, but three judges’ rule against him in three different cases," he added.

“In the Georgia ‘find me 11,000 votes’ case, the judge rejected Trump’s claim that making phone calls to get the election overturned were protected by ‘free speech.’ In the Florida “classified documents” case, a judge he appointed denied his argument that he was allowed to take documents under the Presidential Records Act,” Kimmel continued.

He added, “And in New York, the judge rejected his attempt to delay the Stormy Daniels case."

Kimmel elaborated on how Trump attempted to employ his questionable Presidential immunity defense in the New York case, only to have the judge dismiss it with the ruling that "hush money paid to an adult film star is not related to a President’s official acts."

"I'm pretty sure, and I'm not a historian, but I'm pretty sure it's the first time a judge has ever had to say that," Kimmel quipped.

Pointing out the coincidental timing of the Stormy Daniels trial, which commences on April 15, famously known as Tax Day, Kimmel joked, "A big date for Donald Trump — it’s the first time in history a former president will be held accountable for cheating on his taxes and his wife on the same day."

Jimmy Kimmel's commentary leaves social media in splits

One person noted, "Trump belongs in Prison not running for Presidency. Period."

Another said, "This is getting stupid. Why is this guy still able to run for the president?"
