NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: This week, Donald Trump once again violated a judge's gag order in his hush-money criminal case, launching another furious diatribe on social media.

Despite his actions, he has yet to face any consequences, leading Jimmy Kimmel to question the efficacy of laws.

During his monologue on April 2, Kimmel expressed genuine exasperation as he recounted Trump's online attacks, including targeting the judge's daughter.

Despite the judge issuing an expanded gag order, Trump proceeded to defy it once more on the morning of April 2. Kimmel said, "Trump has been going after the judge's daughter which is just nuts. So the judge ordered him to stop."

"He declined this morning he did it again he wrote a whole diatribe on Truth social and guess what happened to him....nothing. Nothing happened."

Kimmel then expressed frustration at the lack of consequences for Trump's actions, questioning, "Are laws real? Because I’ve been stupidly following them my whole life now, and it doesn’t seem to matter" after witnessing Trump evade accountability time and time again.

"Donald Trump thinks a gag order is what Melania does when she sees him get out of the hot tub," he added.  In another part of his monologue, Kimmel took a lighter approach, poking fun at Trump for labeling President Biden as "crooked" in one of his numerous recent social media posts.

“‘Crooked’ was his nickname for Hillary, all right? It was ‘Crooked Hillary,’ and you can’t just reassign a nickname!” Kimmel said.

“You can’t have Magic Johnson and Magic Larry Bird, it doesn’t work like that. This is just lazy Donald Trumping is what it is," he added.

He added, “I know he’s not ashamed of anything, but he should at least be ashamed of this."

Internet sides with Jimmy Fallon

The online sphere buzzed with activity as users took to social media to voice their reactions to Fallon's argument.

One person wrote, "Are the laws real? Because I feel like I have been stupidly following them all my life.. you said it brother!"

Another said, "I almost feel like we should all just start breaking the law, and then use Donald Trump as precedent for why we shouldn't be charged. Like if you want to charge us with crimes then prove they're actually crimes and charge Trump already. Ffs."

"And guess what happened to him"....NOTHING! All these judges need to lose their jobs for failure to do them!" one viewer suggested angrily.
