WASHINGTON, DC: In a video that has gone viral, Johnny McEntee, a former Donald Trump assistant, is shown accusing homeless individuals of receiving fake cash to have them jailed, according to Daily Mail.

Notably, after going viral, McEntee, who currently operates a right-wing dating app, said that his outrageous and unlawful prank was 'just a joke, everyone calm down.'

Johnny McEntee boasts about giving homeless people fake money in video

McEntee said in the viral video, "So I always keep this fake Hollywood money in my car, so when a homeless person asks for money, and I give them like a $5 bill, I feel good about myself, they feel good. And then when they go to use it, they get arrested, so I'm actually helping to clean up the community and get them off the street."

In addition to being derided for being malicious, the video boasted about engaging in unlawful activity such as distributing counterfeit money, which is against the law.

Notably, apart from his support for dating apps, McEntee serves as a senior advisor to Project 2025. This far-right group seeks to alter government in the event of a Trump victory drastically.

Among its other proposals are the abolition of the FBI, the Departments of Education, Homeland Security, and Commerce, the replacement of 'deep state' government employees with ardent conservatives, and the outlawing of abortion and pornography.

Among Trump's inner circle, McEntee has one of the most peculiar and contentious backgrounds. At the age of 25, he started working for Trump as his 'body guy,' escorting the then-candidate about in his luggage and delivering messages.

In 2018, he lost his job due to a gambling problem that was deemed so dangerous for national security during a background investigation.
