WASHINGTON, DC: Ana Navarro called tech billionaire Elon Musk the "First Lady" of President-elect Donald Trump after he was seen in a family photograph of the GOP nominee following his election victory, which did not include his wife, Melania Trump.

The political strategist made the comments during a panel discussion on CNN's 'AC360' after Anderson Cooper asked about the significance of the Tesla CEO being on a call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, according to Mediaite

Musk reportedly made a surprise appearance on the call, which lasted for about 25 minutes, and assured Zelensky that he would continue supporting Ukraine through his Starlink satellites. He was also present on Trump's call with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Ana Navarro joined in on the conversation after Republican strategist Scott Jennings explained that "Trump can put anyone on the phone that he wants," and since Musk would "obviously" be one of his advisors, his presence on the call was not surprising at all.

While agreeing on the premise that Trump has the authority to let Musk in on conversations, 'The View' host said it felt "weird" that he was seen "everywhere" with the President-elect.

"I think it’s a little weird, right?" I mean, Elon Musk seems to be everywhere at all times. He’s like, secretary of everything, and at the same time, he’s like First Lady," remarked Navarro.

She added, "The other day I saw this picture of him. It was a picture of Trump with his entire family except Melania, but Elon Musk was there. And now you hear about this."

Navarro went on to say, "There’s obviously also conflicts of interest. This is somebody who has contracts with the Department of Defense. This is somebody who has Starlink, that’s a big part of what’s going on in Ukraine."

"I find it a little weird. But as Scott said, they won. He gets to do whatever he wants, and if he wants Elon everywhere, all the time, that’s what’s going to happen," stated Navarro, who has been a vocal critic of Trump and had endorsed Kamala Harris for the 2024 presidential election.

Musk had played a significant role in Musk in Trump's 2024 White House bid, with his Super PAC providing over $118 million to the president-elect's campaign. The MAGA spearhead has frequently expressed his intention to include the tech tycoon in his second administration.

Donald Trump's supporters slam Ana Navarro over her remark

Netizens, especially Donald Trump's supporters reacting to Ana Navarro's remark on CNN, were quick to mock her as irrelevant.

One wrote, "And so the legacy media meltdown continues, love to see it!" while another said, "Secretary of Everything would be a cool title though."

A person jibed, "Oh look! Another irrelevant mouthpiece with opinions," and someone else added, "She sounds jealous," possibly hinting at Harris' loss.

"There is something seriously wrong with members of the legacy media!" remarked an individual.

"She can crawl into a trash can and stay there," declared one more.
