Elon Musk's trans daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson 'confirms' she's leaving US after Trump's victory
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Elon Musk's estranged transgender daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, confirmed her intention to leave the United States as Donald Trump reclaimed the White House.
Vivian, the older of the twins the Tesla CEO shares with novelist Justine Musk, has a notoriously tense relationship with her father. She previously accused Elon of being a "serial adulterer" and an absent father who wouldn't accept her transition, as per the Daily Beast.
Elon, who previously described himself as "politically moderate," endorsed Trump shortly after the Butler assassination attempt and donated more than $119 million to fund a Super PAC aimed at reelecting the GOP nominee.
The president-elect has frequently floated the idea of Elon serving as his "secretary of cost-cutting."
Elon Musk's trans daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson doesn't see her future being in the US
Taking to Threads on Wednesday, November 6, Vivian Jenna Wilson noted that Donald Trump's overwhelming win "confirmed" that she would be better off in a place that is more welcoming of transgender people.
"I’ve thought this for a while, but yesterday confirmed it for me. I don’t see my future being in the United States," wrote the 20-year-old.
She added, "Even if he’s only in office for 4 years, even if the anti-trans regulations magically don’t happen, the people who willingly voted this in are not going anywhere anytime soon."
Despite largely avoiding the spotlight, Vivian has at times voiced her disapproval of her father's actions which she deemed problematic.
Vivian called Elon's bizarre offer to impregnate Taylor Swift following her endorsement of Kamala Harris for president "heinous incel nonsense."
Elon Musk and estranged transgender daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson's turbulent relationship
According to Walter Isaacson's biography of the tech billionaire, Vivian Jenna Wilson cut ties with Elon Musk in 2022. The Tesla CEO previously called his daughter a "communist" who had been brainwashed to believe "that anyone rich is evil."
The 20-year-old stated in an NBC News interview that her parents split custody between their residences in the Los Angeles region after the couple's 2008 divorce.
In a livestream with psychologist and political commentator Jordan Peterson in July, Elon brought attention to Vivian by addressing their estranged relationship and stating that he didn't support her gender identity.

"I lost my son, essentially," remarked Elon, saying his daughter was "dead, killed by the woke mind virus" and used her birth name, which is commonly referred to as a dead name by transgender individuals.
Moreover, Elon claimed in a post on X that Vivian was "born gay and slightly autistic" and that, at the age of four, she met certain gay stereotypes, including her love of musicals and her use of the word "fabulous" to describe particular styles of clothes.
Vivian told NBC News that while the stories are untrue, she did behave in other ways as a youngster that were stereotypically feminine.
She further responded to her father's remarks in several posts on Threads. In one, she wrote, "He doesn’t know what I was like as a child because he quite simply wasn’t there. And in the little time that he was I was relentlessly harassed for my femininity and queerness."

Internet supports Vivian Jenna Wilson's decision to leave the country
Vivian Jenna Wilson's decision to leave the country in the wake of Donald Trump's win in the 2024 election resonated with many.
One wrote, "She’s fortunate she has the means to live wherever she pleases and doesn’t have to worry about how much eggs cost," and another said, "Must be nice, wish I could say the same."
"Good for her. Most other American transgender people won't have that option," expressed a person, with someone else writing, "To be honest, she really should. She will not be safe."
An individual wondered, "Usually when something affects us personally, we understand it better and support that cause. This happens every day. Yet in the case of his own trans daughter, look who he's aligned with. Another narcissistic sociopath. No empathy. It all tracks."

Be free, Vivian.
Good for her. Most other American transgender people won't have that option.
