LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ana Navarro strongly criticized Donald Trump for his personal life choices, particularly focusing on his children's mothers during a recent episode of 'The View.'

"You guys want to make her dating history and her personal history an issue? Let’s do that, OK? Bring it on," Navarro began, addressing the criticism aimed at Vice President Kamala Harris's past relationships.

Ana Navarro calls out double standards in politics

Navarro, not holding back, pointedly remarked, "You want to talk about Donald Trump, who has five children from three different mamas?" The audience reacted audibly to her candid statement.

Navarro, 52, then prompted viewers to consider, "How would Kamala be treated if she was that?"

Donald Trump, 78, has children with three different women. He shares three adult children – Donald Jr, 46, Ivanka, 42, and Eric, 40 – with his first wife, Ivana Trump.

Following their divorce in 1990, Trump married Marla Maples in 1993, with whom he had daughter Tiffany, 30, before their split in 1999. His current wife, Melania Trump, whom he married in 2005, is the mother of his youngest son, Barron, 18, who recently graduated from high school.

While Barron Trump has mostly stayed out of the public eye, his elder siblings are frequently seen supporting their father, including at the recent Republican National Convention where they appeared together.

Navarro's outspoken remarks are part of her ongoing criticism of the double standards faced by female politicians, such as Vice President Harris, who have been scrutinized for their personal lives. Navarro had previously drawn attention to this issue by comparing how Melania Trump and Harris are treated differently in public discourse.

The controversy ignited when far-right activist Laura Loomer made baseless claims about Vice President Harris, suggesting she had a controversial past. Despite such attacks, Harris has risen to become Vice President under President Biden and was the presumptive presidential nominee when Biden withdrew from the race.

Ana Navarro's remarks about Trump's marriages gets mixed reactions

Opinions varied widely online following Ana Navarro's pointed remarks, reflecting diverse perspectives on her critique of Donald Trump's family life and the ensuing debate over double standards in politics.

One user, "That's the standard in most minority households, but I don't see Navarro saying a word about them."

Another user commented, "Navarro is 100% correct. But Trump didn't need to sleep his way up the ladder to positions of influence."

One user replied, "She's not trashing Nick Cannon, Elon Musk, Rod Stewart, Mel Gibson, Mick Jagger, and many professional sports stars, etc. Christie Brinkley, Kate Winslet and Kate Hudson are in the 3x3 club. At least Trump supported all his wives and children and his children/grandchildren are educated, upstanding citizens."

Another said, "Bringing up ANY candidate's children in such a manner, especially when they are innocent bystanders, regardless of their age is reprehensible. Ms. Navarro owes a public apology to the Trump children."

Another user stated, "She has a valid point. Can't argue with that."

One user replied, "Navarro always claims to be a Republican. I have never seen proof of that."

Another commented, "Dear Ana, You are letting Trump live rent free in your head. Might wanna take a look into that."

One added, "Isn't Ana Navarro a nobody? Again, why would anyone care what this person says?"
