Tom Holland says quitting alcohol made him 'much more confident'
The 30-year-old has himself struggled with alcohol addiction but successfully overcame it.
A few months back, he reportedly said, “Drinking was something that was ultimately really getting in the way of my professional life. Being an actor and living your life on the big stage can be really stressful. And I think that alcohol, for me personally, really compounded that issue.”
“And, since getting rid of the booze and feeling more like myself and waking up clear-headed every day and fresh to start the day, I just feel so much more confident in myself as who I am as a person,” Holland added.

He put some good out into the world, and I’m glad we were able to let him know that it made a difference.”
The journalist continued to praise the 'The Impossible' star as she asserted, “Someone very wise once said that with great power comes great responsibility, and Tom carries that responsibility with grace. When I showed my dad this video, he said, ‘Tom’s a real-life superhero!’”
