WASHINGTON, DC: A video has gone viral on social media, in which former presidential candidate and former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci are seen kissing for the camera.

Both anti-Donald Trump personalities have openly criticized the former president's bid for the office in 2024.

The video was shared by @alx on X (formerly Twitter) and Anthony Scaramucci responded to its authenticity by poking fun at the social media account.

“Aww poor ALX guy hiding who is on X and likely hiding who he is in life. It’s ok to be you ALX,” he wrote

“You must be new here. One click on my profile will tell you I’m definitely not ‘hiding’. It’s called a nickname. Also, my point was that Christie is GROSS and that’s an objective fact,” the user responded to Scaramucci's comment.

Meanwhile, others started trolling the awkward kiss between him and Christie during 'From the Wall Street to the White House and Back' book launch party.

In May, Scaramucci said Trump “is a very dangerous guy” and should be kept away from the White House, reports Breitbart.

“We’ve seen what he’s like in terms of his destructive capabilities. And when I say he’s un-American, he says he’s un-American. He disavows the Constitution,” he said.

“And whatever shortcomings that President Biden may or may not have, I’ll be supporting him. I’ll be working for him in the fall,” Scaramucci further said.

Internet trolled Scaramucci and Christie's kiss

An X user wrote, "Hating Trump is a love like no other."

“That kiss lasted just a bit longer than Mooch’s White House gig,” another said.

One joked, “It wasn’t a kiss. Christie just saw some leftover mustard on his lip.”

"Scarasmoochie and Hamburgler?" a user commented

A user said, "They’re all so fake and ghey."

"I'm just saying I grew up in an Italian family and am surrounded by Italians from Italy and not once have two guys kissed on the lips that were not finocchio's," one wrote.

One poked fun, "When political enemies become friends, you know something's up. Is this the new power couple in town?"

"They’d be better off sticking to hugs and keeping the kissing private," another trolled the awkward kiss.
