'Stay on his neck': Aubrey O'Day lauded as she blasts Diddy for not apologizing to Cassie Ventura after he called her accusations a lie

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Aubrey O'Day blasted her former mentor Sean 'Diddy' Combs for failing to express regret to his abused ex-girlfriend Casandra 'Cassie' Ventura in the apology video he posted on Sunday (May 19) morning.

The 54-year-old rapper apologized on Instagram, saying: "It's so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, sometimes you got to do that. I was f***ed up. I mean, I hit rock bottom, but I make no excuses."

Looking into the camera, Diddy added: "I was disgusted then when I did it, I am disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help, I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. Had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I'm so sorry. But I am committed to be a better man each and every day. I'm not asking for forgiveness, I'm truly sorry."

Aubrey blasted the troubled rap mogul because he "did not apologize to Cassie," rather "he apologized to the world for seeing what he did."

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Aubrey wrote in a private post: "Diddy did not apologize to Cassie. He apologized to the world for seeing what he did. He says he's 'disgusted [with] himself now, and he was disgusted [with] himself then'."

"But apparently he wasn't disgusted enough [with] himself to not PIN this statement out calling [Cassie] a liar & denying all of it... Leave god and mercy out of this, they aren't present here, and you know it," Aubrey added.

Reposting an Instagram story about how "weak men hate strong women" and that she was called "a problem child" because she "never backed down from" Diddy, the 'Stamina' singer said, "Well there is def physical proof of all of this."

The Connecticut-born songstress was signed to Bad Boy Records by the then 36-year-old Diddy in 2005 when she was just 19 years old. It is said that they dated between 2007 and 2018, per Daily Mail.

Having been critical of Diddy for decades, Aubrey has been watching his collapse with great interest. She earlier commented on Ventura's lawsuit's dismissal and the settlement's "heartbreak," saying, "Welcome to another chapter of the system well in place."

The 40-year-old singer earlier celebrated the news that her former mentor Diddy's properties had been seized by Homeland Security investigators, writing on Instagram that her former boss was "reap[ing]" what he had "sow[n]."

Aubrey wrote, "What you sow, you shall reap," next to an image of the hip-hop icon.

While she made no mention of any alleged victimization, she continued, ostensibly placing herself among their ranks, saying, "I pray this emboldens all of US victims to finally speak on what we have endured," per Daily Mail.

Internet demands Diddy 'take accountability for what he’s done to Cassie'

Social media users agreed with Aubrey O'Day and demanded Diddy's apology addressing Cassie with one X user saying, "Perfectly said Aubrey!!! thank you for keeping your stiletto on his neck"

A second one added, "You stay on his neck, LOVE THIS, keep it coming because he needs to face his demons and take accountability for what he’s done to Cassie"

"Oh we peeped Aubrey because he wasn’t disgusted with himself Before Cassie, during Cassie, or after Cassie," chimed in an X user.

Another one seethed, "I was waiting for his apology to HER. This is just disgusting and pathetic."

Several others claimed Diddy made the apology to everyone but Cassie as one noted, "He was making it all about himself instead of Cassie. It was all about what he’s going through just imagine what she was going through living with him and had to endured by his hands"

Another one praised Aubrey and said, "You’ve been consistently on his neck from the very jump… all by yourself! Bringing to the light of who he really is. With no fear."

"Right. That’s why he settled so quickly with her when she filed the suit. He didn’t want this to get out. I’m so proud of you Aubrey!!!" exclaimed one.
