COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA: During a recent campaign rally in South Carolina, President Joe Biden made bold claims about the international support he is purportedly receiving in his bid to defeat Donald Trump in the upcoming 2024 election.

The 81-year-old president, amid the ongoing political campaigns of both contenders, held a rally in Columbia, South Carolina, over the weekend.

Global Appeal for Defeating Donald Trump

Addressing a crowd on Saturday, January 27, Biden not only criticized his presidential predecessor on various issues but also highlighted the attention he allegedly receives from world leaders who stress the importance of preventing Trump's return to power.

"Folks, it’s important, not just for the African American community but for every community in this country. It’s about who we are. It’s about what — think about it — how the world looks at us,” Biden remarked during the campaign stop in Columbia. "I know every one of those heads of state, and I’ve known them for a while."

"And every meeting I go to internationally, I — as they’re walking out — this is the God’s truth; I can say this in front of the press — virtually every one of them pulls me aside [sic] and says, you’ve got to win, we can’t let that happen again," Biden claimed.

“We can’t let that happen again,” Biden added, continuing to quote other world leaders: “You can’t let that happen again. You can’t let that happen again!”

During his speech at Brookland Baptist Church on the same day, President Biden delved into the broader significance of his ongoing 2024 re-election campaign.

“Folks, this campaign is a lot bigger than me, you, and all of us,” he said. “It’s about who we are as a country.”

"And, by the way, you know, what we — we’re — the thing about us is we believe in those basic principles,” he continued. “We don’t always practice them as a nation, but we — we do believe in honesty and decency. We do believe that people should be treated with respect." Biden added, “We don’t live up to it all the time, but we don’t walk away from it.”

Social Media Reactions

However, the president was trolled on social media for his comments.

"Ya, so Biden can keep giving all these country’s money and letting their people just come right into our country !!" one posted on Facebook.

"We definitely cannot let this bumbling unfit man called Biden will again. Our country is already in a tailspin because of him and his administration," another wrote.

"They probably are cause they know Trump is a force to be reckoned with unlike Biden looking and talking incoherent," someone else added.

"Ya because they're scared of Trump," another offered.

Biden’s claim that world leaders are practically “begging” him to beat Trump in November surfaced shortly after his heightened attacks against the 45th president.

According to an insider from the Trump camp, these recent attacks have considerably affected the embattled ex-president, leading to a sense of being "rattled" amid the ongoing 2024 election cycle.

"I do think he’s trying to get under his skin, and I think it’s the smartest thing the Biden campaign has done yet," a source close to the 45th president told CNN last week. "It rattles him and takes him off message," the insider added.
