LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Conservative activist Ben Shapiro strongly criticized Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene amid her growing conflict with President Donald Trump

He called her out for what he saw as playing the victim and attempting to take control of the political narrative.

On his show, 'The Ben Shapiro Show' on Monday, November 17, he sharply criticized Greene, accusing Marjorie Taylor Greene of launching a separate effort to take control of the conservative movement, and argued that her real intention was merely to complain.

He cited a portion of Greene’s response to Trump calling her a “traitor,” in which she claimed that the president “attacked” her and warned that his “aggressive rhetoric” had “historically led to death threats.”

Shapiro dismissed that narrative, bluntly stating, “Always playing the victim, Marjorie Taylor Greene.”

He also took issue with the congresswoman's recent media circuit, where she criticized Republicans such as House Speaker Mike Johnson.

Shapiro criticized Greene’s media approach by saying, “Marjorie Taylor Greene has been attempting to run essentially her own knockoff version, her Temu version, of MAGA. She has been out retailing it to 'The View', she has been out retailing it to CNN, and MSNBC, she has become the hot new thing in the legacy media.”

He went on to highlight how legacy outlets now embrace her, stating, “You know, the Jewish space lasers lady, that lady is the hot new thing with regard to the legacy media. They now have strange new respect for Marjorie Taylor Greene, because she has decided that she is going to attack Trump full-time.”

Ben Shapiro targets Marjorie Taylor Greene over Epstein files push

A central part of Ben Shapiro’s critique was centered on Marjorie Taylor Greene’s suggestion that Donald Trump is suppressing files linked to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

He termed her belief “ridiculous” and argued that she was pushing a conspiracy theory that Epstein was connected to Israeli intelligence without any evidence.

According to Shapiro, her motivations stemmed from “quack beliefs” about Jews and Israel.

Shapiro went further, accusing Greene and like-minded Republicans, including Thomas Massie, of fixating on Epstein files.

He linked this to Trump’s foreign policy, particularly his approach toward Israel. “President Trump comes on the scene, doesn’t do the foreign policy they want, and suddenly they start screaming at the top of their lungs about the Epstein files,” the Daily Wire co-founder said.

Shapiro claimed that “none of these people were screaming bloody murder about the Epstein files when Joe Biden was president of the United States.”
