NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: In a recent turn of events, a New York jury found Donald Trump guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business documents in the historical hush money case on Thursday, May 30.

Ben Shapiro, a prominent conservative commentator, noted that the former president's conviction was nothing short of a "tyrannical violation of the norms that hold together the country."

While reacting to the conviction, Shapiro mentioned, "Democrats have no idea what they just unleashed, all in the name of stopping Trump," and went on to argue that the case was a politically motivated witch-hunt orchestrated by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who, upon assuming office, made it his mission to target Trump at any cost.

The Daily Wire co-founder further contended that this sentiment was echoed by Attorney General Letitia James and Judge Juan Merchan, who seemingly harbored personal vendettas against the former president.

"It's a ridiculous, ridiculous case," asserted Shapiro, adding, "This was a put-up job from the start."

He went on to criticize the Biden administration and the Democratic Party for their relentless pursuit of Trump, branding him as a criminal and a felon since the moment they took office.

The conservative commentators suggested that the recent verdict is the culmination of years of political animosity and that Trump was vilified at every turn.

Shapiro isn't the only one calling Trump's guilty verdict a sham as The New York Times reported that conservative websites and commentators heavily criticized the verdict, denouncing it as a farce and intensifying their attacks on both the prosecution and the judge.

Throughout the seven-week criminal trial, Trump as well as his supporters claimed that the case was "politically motivated" and "rigged."

Ben 'Shin Bet' Shapiro narrative spinning as usual," remarked a person, while someone else added, "Hyperbole at its best."
