Bewildered Trump asked ‘why doesn’t his shirt fit’ on seeing Elon Musk jump on rally stage, claims book

WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump was reportedly left flustered by Elon Musk’s antics when the Tesla boss joined the then-Republican candidate during his election rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, last October.
In a new book penned by Michael Wolff, the author revealed that the president, 78, was left “bewildered” by Musk’s jumping around when he joined him on stage at the campaign rally, as reported by OK! Politics.
In the book titled, ‘All or Nothing: How Trump Recaptured America’, Wolff reflected on the defining moment from the Pennsylvania rally when the X boss jumped around the stage excitedly while waving his arms triumphantly.
Donald Trump left ‘bewildered’ by Elon Musk’s jumping
Because of his excited moves, Elon Musk’s T-shirt rode higher, while exposing his stomach.
However, Musk’s excitement allegedly did not resonate with the GOP spearhead, as he asked someone what was wrong with Musk.
Wolff wrote that Trump asked someone, "What the f**k is wrong with this guy? And why doesn’t his shirt fit?"

Elsewhere in the book, the author noted that Musk brushed off an offer to meet then-running mate JD Vance at the event, with him reportedly saying, "I’ve really no interest in speaking to a vice president."
Nevertheless, White House communications director Steven Cheung was not on the same page as Wolff, as he slammed the author, "Michael Wolff is a lying sack of s**t and has been proven to be a fraud.”

Cheung further added in his statement, per Ok Politics, "He routinely fabricates stories originating from his sick and warped imagination, only possible because he has a severe and debilitating case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has rotted his peanut-sized brain."
Sean Hannity felt he 'was interviewing two brothers' during his sit down with Elon Musk and Donald Trump
While Donald Trump's reaction to Elon Musk's excitement is still open to interpretation, almost half a year - and an election - later, the duo share a much warmer camaraderie. Not only is the Space X CEO serving as the director of the Trump administration's cost-cutting behemoth, the DOGE, but is also appearing in several interviews together.
Recently the duo made a joint appearance on Sean Hannity's show, where the Fox News host could not help but exclaim that he felt like he was "interviewing two brothers here."

In the same interview, Musk also reflected on his decision to endorse Trump in the election. The billionaire businessman said that he would have endorsed Trump anyway, but the assassination attempt on Trump in Butler accelerated the process.
He told Hannity, “Well, I was going to do it anyway, but that was a precipitating event,” before Trump chimed in, “That speeded it up a little bit." The President, nevertheless, said, “I didn’t know that," per The Hill.
“It sped it up, but I was going to do it anyway,” Musk clarified.
