Bill Clinton mocks Donald Trump's age at DNC as he reminds crowd he's 'younger' than him
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: Former president Bill Clinton delivered a notable speech at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday, August 21, discussing Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz's vision for the future, as well as commenting on Donald Trump's age.
Clinton, having turned 78 on August 19, humorously commented on his age during his speech before he continued.
Love this… Bill Clinton just pointed out that he’s younger than Donald Trump at the DNC.

"Two days ago, I turned 78," Clinton began by saying. "I'm the oldest man in my family still living, and the only vanity I want to assert is that I'm still younger than Donald Trump."
How old is Donald Trump?
Donald Trump, born on June 14, 1946, at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York City, is 78 years old.
He is the fourth among five children of Fred C Trump, a real estate developer, and Mary MacLeod Trump, a homemaker and philanthropist. Trump was raised in the Jamaica neighborhood of Queens and later attended the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Trump's age has been under the spotlight, especially since President Joe Biden dropped out of the 2024 race.
Bill Clinton draws comparison between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris
Bill Clinton claimed that voters would have to choose between Kamala Harris, who "will ease our fears," and "the other guy, who's proved, even more than the first go-around, that he's about me, myself, and I" in the 2024 election.
Clinton also encouraged the audience to pay attention to Trump's words during his speeches, stating, "The next time you hear him, don't count the lies. Count the I's — his vendettas, his vengeance, his complaints, his conspiracies, he's like a tenor trying to get his lungs open by singing, me, me, me, me, me."
Bill Clinton on Trump: He mostly talks about himself. So the next time you hear him, don't count the lies -- count the i's ... he tries to get his lungs open by saying 'me me me me me' ... do you want to spend the next four years talking about crowd size? pic.twitter.com/n2VJ6nrNzR

He continued, "When Kamala Harris is president, every day will begin with you, you, you, you, you."
Clinton commended the historic nominations of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz and lauded Biden's leadership during the pandemic.
He remarked, "Last night, in what I thought was a moving series of events, we nominated Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. Just think about that-two truly all-American but still improbable life stories. It could only happen here. Their careers began in community courtrooms and classrooms. These are two leaders who have spend a lifetime getting the job done."
He praised President Joe Biden's leadership, highlighting his effective guidance during the Covid-19 pandemic, his efforts to strengthen alliances, and his steadfast support for Ukraine.
Clinton stated, "He healed our sick and put the rest of us back to work," and praised Biden for his courage, compassion, and class, as per the Times Now report.
Clinton also focused on Kamala Harris, commending her historic nomination and the choice of Governor Tim Walz as her vice-presidential candidate. He remarked, "Kamala Harris for the people."
Internet ridicules Bill Clinton
As soon as Bill Clinton's remarks regarding Trump's age hit social media, Trump's supporters launched a counterattack on Clinton through platform X.
A user wrote, "See the difference here, is Trump's brain is still fully functioning. That is why this attack falls flat."

A third commentator asked, "Then why does he look and sound like he is in his nineties? Meanwhile Trump is still fighting for all of us."

"He sounds older," one said.
A person said, "He looks 88 and he sounds like his speech at his own funeral. Can’t believe people would pay $600k for him to talk."
