LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Bill Maher seemed surprised after Vice President Kamala Harris' recent MSNBC interview and said he didn't expect the network "to be rubbing" her feet.

On his show 'Real Time with Bill Maher' on Friday, September 27, the host slammed both Harris and former president Donald Trump in his monologue. He trolled Harris over an Arizona border visit and said it’s her second time working somewhere where there is a convenient drive-thru, per Mediaite.

Bill Maher mocks Kamala Harris' alleged softball MSNBC interview

Kamala Harris sat down for an interview with Stephanie Ruhle on Wednesday, September 25. This was Harris' first one-on-one TV interview after becoming the Democratic presidential nominee.

Republicans hit out at Ruhle for allegedly asking softball questions to Harris.

Bill Maher also shared his take on this interview and Harris' recent border visit during his show.

"I think Kamala Harris is playing this just right. Now one of her big issues that she’s vulnerable on is the border so she went to the border this week."

He added, "She went to the border in Arizona. She used to be the border czar. She visited there. So, interesting, along with working at McDonald’s, now that’s two people she’s worked that have a convenient drive-thru."

Maher also roasted Harris for her lack of media interactions. Even though she has increased her media interviews in recent weeks, critics have slammed her for mainly sticking with softball interviews.

Maher made fun of Harris and said, "There’s been a lot of pressure on her. She doesn’t do interviews. She doesn’t answer questions. So she sat for an interview. She said, okay, I will answer your hardball questions. She went on MSNBC."

He added, "Alright, you know, they were not hardball questions, but I still expected not them to be rubbing her feet."

Bill Maher predicts Donald Trump's defeat in upcoming election

Bill Maher also predicted Donald Trump is "definitely going to lose" in November to Kamala Harris, per Mediaite.

In the Overtime segment featuring writer Fran Lebowitz, Israeli historian Yuval Noah Harari, and political consultant Ian Bremmer, Maher dismissed the possibility of Trump winning the upcoming election.

Maher stated he’s already put his "marker" down when Bremmer argued it’s not sure whether voters will repeat the "mistake" of Trump again.

Maher said, "We’re not. I’ve already put my marker down on that", as Bremmer interjected, "Then it’s a counter-example."

Maher replied, "No, I’m not even worried about it" and Lebowitz asked, "You’re not even worried about it?"

The comedian answered, "No, not at all. Yeah, no, no, no, he’s definitely going to lose. You just feel it."

Internet reacts to Bill Maher's comments on Kamala Harris' MSNBC interview

People on the internet sided with Bill Maher as he seemed surprised after Kamal Harris' recent MSNBC interview where no "hardball questions" were asked to her.

A social media user said, "She needs to cheat and can't do that on Fox."

Another said, "Give Harris an opportunity to actually answer a question."

A person also stated, "MSNBC is too much of a safe space for Wokeists."

Another said, "She declined to debate him on a Fox News debate."

A user also wrote, "Ever seen the boxing champ beg for a rematch? Me neither."

Another commented, "Trump lost the debate but Harris didn't win. Her canned responses reveal how close the Republicans and Democrats are on so many things."
