LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Comedian Bill Maher called out his critics while confirming that he will soon meet President Donald Trump at the White House, Mediate reported on Friday, March 21.

The meeting has been set up by singer and MAGA enthusiast Kid Rock, who appeared as a guest on Maher's 'Club Random' podcast earlier this month.

Maher shared the announcement in an episode of the same show, with fellow comedian Andrew Schulz as his guest, that is slated to be aired on Sunday, March 23.

As per the publication, Maher, a vocal critic of Trump, explained to Schulz how his upcoming meeting with the POTUS has been set up.

"Kid Rock was here a couple of weeks ago, and he said, ‘I want you to meet Trump.’ He said, ‘I’m gonna take you to the White House.’ So now we’re gonna do that,” he said.

The 69-year-old went on to highlight that unlike Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who sparked controversy by not wearing a suit during his meeting in the Oval Office last month, he would be donning one as a “sign of respect.”

Expecting criticism from his liberal followers about the upcoming meeting, Maher flatly stated, "There will be lots of people on the left who will be like, ‘How dare you talk to this man.’ It’s like ‘f**k you, I’m not playing this game that you mean girls play.'"

“‘Oh, you know what? You can’t sit at my lunch table, because I’m just not talking to you.’ Not talking to you? You lost the election. Who the f**k do you think you have to talk to?” he jibed at the Democrats.
