WASHINGTON, DC: 'Real Time' host Bill Maher, expressed conflicting feelings over Vice President Kamala Harris' CNN appearance, praising and criticizing the Democratic candidate.

“I thought she did great. I thought she did fine,” Maher began the panel discussion Friday night, August 30. “I don’t know why we ever thought she was as bad as people thought she was. It was like Biden had that one bad night, she had a bad three years.”

Bill Maher calls out both Kamala Harris and Tim Walz

Bill Maher implied that by choosing to be evasive about certain topics, Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who was also present during the interview, were "insulting [his] intelligence." Walz's remarks that he speaks like an ordinary person were criticized by the host.

“No, you don’t. You’re a huge liar, like all politicians are,” Maher reacted, per the New York Post. “I don’t give a s— what you did during the Iraq War. You were in the Guard- I don’t understand why they just can’t-” he broke off.

Bill Maher blasts Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for insulting his intelligence

Bill Maher said, “They’re just insulting my intelligence,” referring to Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.

“When [CNN anchor Dana Bash] said what did you say when Biden called you and said he wasn’t running. ‘Well, I immediately thought of him first,'” Maher said while rolling his eyes. “I mean fracking… Dana Bash had her dead to rights. It was like ‘You said this, I have the quote. I’m reading it to you. You said there should be a ban on fracking.’ Why can’t they just go, ‘Yeah, you know what? I got it wrong.’”

Bill Maher praises Kamala Harris for not taking the bait

The HBO anchor praised Kamala Harris for refusing to 'take the bait' in response to a question on former president Donald Trump's remarks regarding her race. “That was just so great,” Maher said. “She said ‘same old playbook.’ And Dana said, like, ‘That’s it?’ ‘That’s it. That’s my answer, that’s all you’re getting.'”

Maher continued by saying that Harris' rhetoric perplexes him, especially the way she keeps referring to finding a "new way forward." “It’s an odd thing to say when you’re in the present administration, is it not?” Maher reacted.

Bill Maher mocks Tim Walz

Bill Maher also made constant fun of the way Kamala Harris and her "emotional support VP" Tim Walz were set up for the interview.

“It was a little odd. He was just sitting there for a very long time without saying anything. He was just nodding while she did all the talking. The women’s focus groups said he must be a wonderful husband,” Maher quipped during the opening monologue.

Maher later said the Democratic ticket looked like “when Dad comes along” to help a young woman buy a car. “Maybe that’s the strategy. They look like a married couple. They look like every interracial couple in every commercial,” he joked.

Internet thinks Bill Maher will vote for Donald Trump

Bill Maher's series of criticisms of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz prompted netizens to believe that the popular host may vote for Donald Trump in the upcoming election.

One X user tweeted, "And to think he can say that with a straight face…or mockingly. I’m flabbergasted and disappointed that he can still support them, even after Pelosi, sitting a few inches away from him said what she said and she wants. What Kamala & Walz said and he’s okay with it!"

Another added, "By the latest thing Bill's been saying i am sure he''ll vote for Trump, but will never admit it."

"Why is Bill Maher suddenly becoming the voice of reason…." asked one, while someone else wrote, "Bill is a shill and a hack… He’s the original TDS clown… It’s hilarious how now he can’t stand the very thing he helped create."
