Brad Paisley reveals Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding invite told guests ‘you mean a lot to us’
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Country music singer Brad Paisley has revealed the heartfelt message Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce included in their wedding invitation, sharing how deeply the gesture was appreciated.
Swift toured with Paisley as a special guest in 2007 when she was a teenager. She invited him and his wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, to the couple's wedding festivities held on Friday, July 3, at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Reflecting on the invitation, Paisley said the wording immediately stood out to him. "They were very clear with the invite. I took this personally when I got the invite because in the invite it said, if you're getting this, you mean a lot to us," he shared.
He also recalled how the couple carefully guarded details about the celebration before guests confirmed their attendance. "It was really fun to watch the cat-mouse game of like, we can tell you roughly where it's going to be. We're not going to say what building, we're not going to say, you know, and here's the date and if you're in, we'll tell you more."
After receiving the invitation, he turned to his wife and asked whether she wanted to attend. "I went to my wife, I said, want to go? And she's like, absolutely, we got to be there. So we did, it was RSVP, yes."
Paisley then described the ceremony, "One of the most, ironically, like one of the least pretentious weddings I've ever seen or ever will see. And so, yeah, it meant a lot to be, it was kind of a big thank you from her to invite us."
Meanwhile, Hallmark star Ashley Williams revealed she was sworn to secrecy after her sister, Kimberly, and brother-in-law received invitations to the wedding. "I don't even know what wedding you're referring to. All I know is that on Friday my sister had an event," she teased during a 'Pause Rewind' interview published Thursday, July 9.
"I did what every good little sister does, and I supported her as she got ready." Ashley later joked about dancing around while Kimberly prepared and said the following morning her sister shared every detail of the celebration.
Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley thank Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for donation
Before the wedding festivities began, Brad and Kimberly shared a video thanking Swift and Kelce for making a generous donation to their Nashville-based nonprofit, 'The Store.'
"On the eve of the wedding of Tay and Trav, this is really an amazing thing to think about, the gift they gave The Store. We just wanted to take a second and say it's transformative. It will feed so many families, and what a way to start a marriage. I'm very excited," Paisley said.
Kimberly added, "We are so, so grateful for your donation. This is gonna go such a long way, as Brad said. Food insecurity is at a 10-year high in Nashville and the timing is just so critical. We're just really, really grateful for your generosity. And congratulations on your upcoming wedding."
The couple also told PEOPLE in a statement, "We're truly inspired by Taylor and Travis's generosity to so many wonderful organizations, and extremely grateful that The Store is included among them."
They added, "This gift will go a long way toward helping our neighbors facing food insecurity in Nashville. What a beautiful way to celebrate the beginning of a marriage!"
They founded 'The Store' in partnership with Belmont University in March 2020. Along with providing free groceries, the nonprofit also offers health and legal aid and music therapy.
