Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding invitation and lavish celebration details
Swift and Kelce’s top-secret wedding invitation was unveiled after Ashish Ferguson, the brother of Kelce’s childhood friend and personal chef, Kumar Ferguson, shared it on Instagram before later removing the post. The forest-themed invitation read, “You’re invited. July 3rd, 2026, Manhattan. Love, Taylor & Travis,” followed by, “One night only. Early evening. Black tie.”
Each invitation was watermarked with the guest’s name and featured the couple’s custom double “T” monogram. The text appeared over a painting of a forest and stream beneath an orange sky, reflecting the couple’s wedding colors.
The design also matched the garden-inspired decor inside Madison Square Garden, which the couple reportedly transformed into “a garden inside the Garden,” complete with trees, large green furnishings, and a prominent gazebo.
Orange armchairs, cocktail tables, and green chairs were also photographed being transported into the venue during preparations. Guests also received custom keepsakes with singer Maren Morris, who shared an embroidered white handkerchief gifted to attendees that featured the couple’s monogram, wedding date, and location, similar to the invitation.
The handkerchief also served as a nod to Swift’s 2014 hit 'Blank Space.' The wedding theme echoed Kelce’s garden-inspired proposal the previous summer, with the couple marrying less than a year later before more than 1,000 guests.
The celebration included performances by legendary singers like Stevie Nicks and Paul McCartney, while a lavish raffle awarded guests luxury prizes, including Chanel or Dior saddle bags, Cartier watches, and other gifts.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s emotional vows, 'Love Story' moment, and Adam Sandler’s wedding advice
According to reports, Swift walked down an “extra long aisle” to a string quartet rendition of her 2008 hit 'Love Story' before exchanging vows with Kelce. The ceremony proved emotional for both newlyweds, “the heartfelt vows took everyone back to how they first met and the journey that led them here,” a source shared.
A second source said, “Travis teared up more than Taylor. They shared very personal details and anecdotes that some guests had never even heard before.” Additional details from the vows also emerged, with an insider revealing, “Taylor talked about how Travis was the guy in high school who, even though he was the star athlete, would go sit with the less-popular kids who were being bullied at lunchtime."
It further said, "And Taylor talked about how she wished she knew someone like that when she was in high school. It was so special.”
Swift has also reflected on the significance of 'Love Story' in previous interviews. She recalled writing the song at age 17 after her parents would not let her date an older boy, later joking, “And this is why you need to discipline your kids because they might write songs that go No 1.”
In 2009, she also described it as “the most romantic song” she had ever written, despite never dating the person who inspired it. The wedding was officiated by comedian and actor Adam Sandler.
