WASHINGTON, DC: Fox News host Bret Baier was in awe of President Donald Trump’s stamina.

The 78-year-old sat down for an exclusive interview with Baier for 'Special Report', which aired on Friday, May 16, during his four-day tour through the Persian Gulf, with stops in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.

The trip has notably been shadowed by the growing controversy around Trump’s acceptance of a $400 million “flying palace” from Qatar — a fully decked-out luxury Boeing 747-8 jet that could serve as Air Force One.

Baier brought up the jet controversy during their sit-down, but not before marveling at Trump’s grueling schedule and unrelenting pace, Mediaite reported.

Bret Baier expresses astonishment at Donald Trump's stamina

In a segment of the interview recorded in Abu Dhabi, Donald Trump brought up his packed schedule.

He said, "We’re going to be leaving in a few hours, and I have another couple of stops. It’s a pretty grueling schedule. A lot of people said, 'How the hell do you do it?'”

“By the way, how the hell do you do it?” Baier asked.

Trump chalked it all up to good genes. “I don’t know. I think it’s genetics. It’s good genetics. I had a father who was very strong, and I had a mother who was very strong," he said.

Baier interjected, “Because I’m wiped out.”

“They lived to ripe old ages, and they were great people. And it’s meeting after meeting. And not only that, it’s speech after speech," Trump added.

Baier remarked, “Big ones.”

Trump continued, “It’s not like — big ones. Like, last night, if you look, he got up, made a beautiful speech. Mohammed, he got up and made a beautiful speech. I wasn’t told I even had a speech to make. So I had to make a speech off the cuff. Do you think Biden could do that? I don’t think so. Actually, it was a pretty good speech. I looked at it. It was pretty good. I didn’t know I was doing it.”

He added that these weren’t just symbolic photo ops — it was “meeting after meeting with the highest-level people.” “These are great people. They love us again. They were not feeling love at all. They were going to China. They’re not going to China anymore,” the president said.

US secures trillion-dollar deals with the Middle East

Donald Trump’s Middle East trip had some massive economic implications behind it.

At the top of the list was a $142 billion arms deal with Saudi Arabia, which is being described as a record-breaking US defense sale. Furthermore, Saudi Arabia also pledged $600 billion in investments across American industries — from tech and infrastructure to energy and more.

Over in Qatar, the negotiations reportedly revolved around deals exceeding $1.2 trillion. That included a stunning $96 billion deal with Boeing, one of the biggest commercial agreements the aerospace company has ever seen.

The UAE also struck commercial agreements worth more than $200 billion, with a major focus on artificial intelligence development. The country is reportedly eyeing a $1.4 trillion investment in the US AI sector over the next decade, the White House revealed.
