Britney Spears may need surgery for injured foot, admits being 'naive' most of the time but not 'as wild as portrayed'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Britney Spears has denied rumors she had a breakdown at a Los Angeles hotel in an Instagram post on Monday, May 6, and also revealed that she might need surgery due to a foot injury.

At the same time, Spears admitted to being ‘naive’ in most situations but denied living life as ‘wild as portrayed.’

In a lengthy Instagram post, Spears dismissed the claims of having a breakdown at the Chateau Marmont.

She was pictured barefoot, wrapped in a blanket, and holding a pillow that covered her body.

Reports, at the time, said she had a huge fight with her new boyfriend Paul Richard Soliz and also harassed hotel staff during a meltdown. 

However, contrary to the reports, she claimed, “I honestly wish my life was as wild as it has been portrayed !!!” The 42-year-old singer shared a video of herself horseback riding and mentioned a possible need for surgery due to a foot injury.

 

"Either way, some shit actually has happened to my foot and I might have to get surgery..... fingers crossed, hopefully not..." she continued, PageSix reports.

Britney Spears says she was crying as she had hurt her foot

Spears addressed the West Hollywood, California hotel directly stressing she didn't not got into a fight with her boyfriend or harass any staff.

“No breakdown !!! I’m a grown-ass woman who is actually very naive in most situations !!!” she stressed.

“I was in my pajamas and yes, I had been crying because I hurt my foot !!!” she added. Spears denied getting into a fight with Soliz which had reportedly resulted in an ambulance arriving at the hotel.

TMZ first reported on Thursday, May 2, that Spears and Soliz, 37, got into an altercation which resulted in an ambulance arriving at the hotel.

But, Spears denied getting into a fight with the handyman in a social media post on Thursday, May 2, alleging that her foot was hurt due to “fall.”

Britney Spears is embarrassed and feels tricked into the way she was pictured 

Spears has reportedly been romantically linked to Soliz since her 2023 divorce from Sam Asghari.

"But I feel that I was harassed and gaslit and tricked to go on the street when my car was supposed to be there !!!" she wrote in the post. 

"I am simply embarrassed they got me in my damn pajamas !!! I don’t feel loved … I feel mistreated !!! With that said, I’m going to treat myself this week !!!" she ended the post. 

Meanwhile, Soliz's ex-wife, Nicole Mancilla, alleged to the Daily Mail on Monday, May 6, that Soliz is a “deadbeat dad” and “doesn’t support any” of his 10 children,” five of whom he shares with her.

The post drew mixed reactions from fans and critics. One fan wrote, “I’m glad she’s getting into horses. That’s the energy she needs to surround herself with” while another commented, "no breakdown” which included a heart emoticon.

“Poor Britney can’t catch a break, hope her foot heals up quick,” wrote one more. “So happy social media exists now and Britney is able to write out her truth for millions to see in a matter of seconds. We love and support you Britney,” wrote another.

“It sucks that she might have to get surgery. But I am glad she went to the doctor, despite her fear of them. I’m glad social media exists too so Brit could put an end to false narratives,” wrote one more.
