LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Britney Spears was spotted leaving a Paw Works pet store on Friday, May 15, just a few days after she reportedly made headlines over an incident at a LA dinner.

During the visit, she appeared to keep a low profile. She wore a brown trench coat with sunglasses. At one point, she tried to cover her face with the coat before getting into her Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon. She then drove away from the Thousand Oaks, California store.

Reports had earlier claimed she was involved in a heated moment at a dinner, with allegations that she "yelled," "barked," and waved a knife. However, her representative has denied these claims.

However, the 44-year-old singer's efforts to avoid attention did not go unnoticed, as her images quickly circulated on social media. She was seen stepping out in a brown trench coat, often pulling the collar up to cover part of her face, as if aware she was being photographed.

Spears kept her hair open and wore sunglasses to hide her face. At times, she quickly walked out of the pet store and got into her car without stopping, only holding her phone. The singer was also seen shopping at a liquor store with a friend before the alleged disturbance at the restaurant.

Surveillance footage published by the Daily Mail showed her reaching Wines of the World in Sherman Oaks in a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon. Her friend is said to have taken a canned drink while Spears walked around the store.

Britney Spears’ representative denies claims about LA restaurant incident

For those unaware, Spears was reportedly involved in a chaotic incident at Blue Dog Tavern in LA, according to TMZ. The report says she was dining with two friends when the situation became disruptive. It claims she raised her voice, screamed, and at times even barked while holding a knife during parts of the visit.

A diner reportedly said she walked around the restaurant holding the knife, which made some guests uncomfortable. She was also seen lighting a cigarette near the entrance, and staff allegedly asked her male companion to step in.

While seated, Spears was also said to have fed her friend and told him, "I love you." The report adds that it was not clear if she was joking or serious, and things reportedly escalated quickly after that.
