'Florida Joker' sparks frenzy as he demands $2M from Rockstar Games over GTA 6 character resemblance
TAMPA, FLORIDA: The highly awaited GTA 6 game, which recently unveiled its groundbreaking trailer, faced criticism from the Florida Joker.
In a video clip, Lawrence Sullivan, better known as Florida Joker, demanded a $2 million payment from Rockstar Games, the overseer of the GTA franchise, claiming that they used his likeness for a character.
According to Variety, the recent GTA 6 trailer garnered remarkable success, setting a new record with 93 million views on YouTube within just 24 hours.
This accomplishment not only solidified its standing as the most-viewed non-music video on the platform but also stirred significant excitement among fans.
Florida Joker calls out GTA 6
In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), a user @Dexerto, shared a video of the Florida Joker, who uploaded a TikTok video in response to the release of the GTA 6 debut trailer.
In the video, he discusses one of the characters in the trailer appearing to be inspired by him and asserts that Rockstar Games should compensate him with $2 million for the alleged use of his likeness.

In the clip, Sullivan states, "Everybody's saying that i'm hallucinating that i'm not the joker from gta 6, chill out your goddamn nuggets."
He continued, "That's me, that's the person, that got the inspiration from you see. That that that's me, that's me, that's me. GTA we, we gotta talk GTA, we gotta talk or not you gotta you give me like a mil or two."
"So what's up holla at me GTA, Rockstar Entertainment, Rockstar games, Rockstar Enterprise. Flo the Joke ain't having that y'all took my likeness y'all took my life," he said.
As reported by WFLA, Sullivan gained internet fame in 2017 when his mugshot from Miami-Dade revealed distinctive facial tattoos and green hair, bearing a striking resemblance to the iconic 'Batman' character, the Joker.
Notably, the word 'Joker' is tattooed on the right side of his forehead. In 2018, Sullivan claimed to have been held without bail in the Pinellas County Jail due to several missed court-ordered appointments.
