WASHINGTON, DC: Candace Owens, a prominent MAGA influencer recently dismissed from the Daily Wire, ignited new controversy with a highly criticized episode of her online show where she engaged in discussions about Adolf Hitler and indulged in extreme Holocaust revisionism.

Clips from the episode titled "Literally Hitler. Why Can't We Talk About Him?" surfaced online this week, featuring Owens' claim that descriptions of Nazi doctor Josef Mengele's appalling experiments seemed to her like "bizarre propaganda."

Candace Owens expressed skepticism regarding Holocaust atrocity

Candice Owens, whose program ranks among the top ten US Spotify podcasts, has consistently engaged in controversial and extreme rhetoric.

This includes her comments that Hitler's "nationalism" within Germany was "fine" and her belief that children should be "taken away" from parents who take them to drag queen story hours, MediaITE reported.

“The idea that they just cut a human up and then sewed them back together. Why would you do that? Even if you’re the most evil person in the world, that’s a tremendous waste of time and supplies,” Owens expressed skepticism regarding a well-documented atrocity that occurred during the Holocaust.

“It is an established fact that SS officer Josef Mengele performed deadly experiments on Jewish twins during the Holocaust,” The Combat Antisemitism Movement account responded on X.

It further added, "Not 80 years later, @RealCandaceO tries to rewrite history by denying these depraved acts ever happened. Utterly repugnant."

Candice Owens claims Allies carried out the 'ethnic cleansing' in Germany

In a different widely shared video from her show last Tuesday, July 9, which has received over 380,000 views, Owens asserted that the real "ethnic cleansing" had been carried out by the Allies in their defeat of Nazi Germany.

"Soviet tactics of introducing really heavy concepts to kids while their brains are developing because you want to traumatize them" is how Owens described Holocaust education indoctrination in the West.

Then, accusing Hitler of being “the greatest evil that’s ever happened on earth, even though factually and statistically it is not” she attacked Holocaust education in schools.

Owens then said, “And part of that learning process for me, when I started looking into it, was coming across a huge fact that we ethnically, the allies, ethnically cleansed 12 million Germans.”

In reality, the Allied forces suffered over 15 million military casualties in overcoming the Axis powers, including Nazi Germany, which executed a horrific campaign of ethnic cleansing against Europe's Jewish, LGBT, Roma, and other communities deemed undesirable.

Internet criticizes Candace Owens for her controversial statements

Pundits from both the left and the right heavily criticized Candace Owens for her commentary.

Sharing the video, one social media user said, "Watch Trump ally Candace Owens try to rehabilitate Hitler’s image. Her hot take: America and the Allies committed ethnic cleansing…not Hitler and the Nazis. Sickening!"

Another added, "Candace Owens insists that the Holocaust and Mengele’s self-documented twin experiments are actually propaganda. Hard to go much lower than this."

One commentator wrote, "Candace Owens has totally lost the plot and gone full-blown Neo-Nazi."

"I won’t waste my time debunking this crap because neither Candace Owens nor the mor**s she’s pandering to give a damn about the truth. But it’s hilarious that she’s not even very good at regurgitating whatever Holocaust denial bulls**t she read last night on the internet," one person remarked.
