Chad Lowe’s daughter Fiona 'changed' after losing 'everything' in Palisades fire, family pal says
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Chad Lowe’s daughter Fiona was deeply affected after losing their home in the Palisades fire in January 2025, a family friend has claimed.
The actor's second-born died on September 29. She was only 13.
Chad Lowe's family pal says 'something happened when the fires happened'
Music executive Mykesha Robinson, whose daughter Faith was best friends with Fiona in elementary school, told the Daily Mail, “Something happened when the fires happened. They lost everything.”
Robinson also described the late teenager as “a ray of light” who was “not shy. She would go up and talk to anybody.”
Mykesha Robinson remembers Fiona as 'loving and kind'
Robinson said that her daughter and Fiona met at Palisades Charter Elementary School in the Pacific Palisades, California. It was their first day of school.
She recalled, “Faith had a tough time integrating. It was kind of just really tough for her. And Fiona just came up to her and was like, ‘Hey, do you want to be friends? Do you want to go jump rope?’ And Faith's like, ‘Yeah.’ So they hit it off really good.”
Calling Fiona “sweet”, “loving”, and “so kind,” Robinson revealed that both the girls lost touch after graduating from elementary school.
But a few weeks ago, Faith joined Instagram and tried to reconnect with her friend. Her follow request was, however, not accepted.
Mykesha Robinson praises Chad Lowe's wife Kim Painter
The World Music Commission founder also commented on Lowe’s wife and Fiona’s mother, Kim Painter, who, as per her, “was like the class historian and she took all the photos of the kids. She went to all the events. I mean, she literally was on campus every single day.”
“And I tell you what, coming from somebody who's raised their kids as a single mom, it was really nice to be able to have a friend that you can count on,” Robinson added.
Reflecting on Fiona’s death, about which she got to know from social media, she revealed, “I've been in buckets of tears over the situation.”
Chad Lowe's eldest daughter Mabel pays tribute to Fiona
Robinson’s account came just a few days after Fiona’s elder sister Mabel mourned her loss.
The 17-year-old wrote on social media, “I love you so much Fiona ❤ ️ I wish your short time here was easier and I hope your mind is at ease now. I will honor you forever and keep your memory alive. I love you, I hope you knew just how much.”
