Chad Lowe shares photos of his daughters inspecting 'what’s left' of their LA home: 'Tough times'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Chad Lowe's family is still in the process of recovering from the devastating loss of their Los Angeles home.

The actor and director, 57, recently took his three daughters back to see the remains of their childhood home after it was destroyed by the Palisades fire

Chad Lowe praises his daughters' resilience amidst devastating loss

Chad Lowe shared pictures of his three minor daughters, Nixie Barbara, eight, Fiona Hepler, 12, and Mabel Painter, 15, on Instagram. 

"Almost a month after we evacuated our girls finally got to go back to see what’s left of their home," Lowe wrote in the post.

"The way they’ve handled this whole devastating experience is nothing short of remarkable. I am in awe of their spirit and resilience," he added.

"Helping them navigate these tough times is my sole purpose. Being their dad is my life’s greatest joy and privilege," Lowe added.

In a video post, he said he had spent a whole day in line to get a pass to dig through the remains of his house. He suggested he had got help from the red cross. 

Chad Lowe says the only structure still standing was the brick fireplace

In January, Chad Lowe shared the first images of what was left of his home on Instagram.

The only structure still standing was the brick fireplace, along with the outline of the place where he had spent the last decade of his life.

"This is what remains of 10 years of building our lives," Lowe wrote in the caption of his Instagram post.

"Our hearts are broken, but we are comforted by all the well wishes, and offers of assistance. We are ok and will be ok. We have each other. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers," he further wrote.

He added, "Home really is where the heart is. Hold those you love close. Take care of each other. This crazy thing called 'life' is so damn precious."

Lowe’s brother, Rob Lowe, 60, was helping his sibling after the fire left them starting over.

“He got a lot of big brother hand-me-downs — he’s back to being 15 years old,” Ro told Entertainment Tonight, adding “He said he loves to dress like a dad, I give him a lot of crap, so I [gave him] my most dad Hokas."

Supporters expressed sympathy and encouragement in the comments of Chad Lowe’s Instagram post.

"Sending so much love and prayers to your beautiful family," one person wrote.

Another added, "Very sorry that your home is gone. Prayers for you and your family, Chad."

"Your girls are as strong as you and your wife. You will get through this together, Chad ❤️ thoughts and prayers to you and your family 🙏🏻," another comment read.

One more person shared, "Wondered today if they’d seen it yet. I just can’t imagine such a loss as a kid - life changing. Again so many hugs to you & your family."
