WASHINGTON, DC: A massive banner of Charlie Kirk and his widow, Erika Kirk, has apparently been draped outside the Heritage Foundation headquarters ahead of this weekend’s memorial service.

The enormous tribute features Kirk’s words splashed across the canvas, “Get married. Have children. Build a legacy. Pass down your values. Pursue the eternal. Seek true joy.”

Fans were quick to gush on social media. “Hang these in every city in America,” one posted on X.

Another admirer added, “Beautiful tribute. Inspiring to see values and legacy celebrated like this.”

Someone else offered, “Not a politician. Not a billionaire. Just a man who told America: build a family, protect your values, live for something eternal. That’s why they feared him. That’s why we remember him."

Another wrote, "I pray this weekend is transformational for our country.”

Memorial in Arizona with tight security

The big send-off for the 31-year-old conservative firebrand will happen Sunday morning, September 21, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. It is the very same venue where Taylor Swift launched her Eras Tour.

The 63,000-seat home of the Arizona Cardinals can stretch to fit more than 73,000 fans. An overflow setup at nearby Desert Diamond Arena adds another 19,000 spots.

A massive turnout is expected and the security arrangement has been described as Super Bowl-scale. The Secret Service is leading the charge.

On Saturday, that tight security was already put to the test. Authorities detained a man carrying a gun and a knife who also flashed inactive law enforcement credentials. He told officials he was providing “private security.”

Turning Point USA, Kirk’s group, clarified he had been “doing advance security for a known guest” but admitted the whole thing wasn’t cleared with the Secret Service. The group said they believe the man was not “attempting anything nefarious.”

Entry to the service is free and first-come, first-served, though attendees are encouraged to snag tickets. For those watching at home, it’ll stream on Kirk’s Rumble account and be carried by several news outlets.

Trump's team to honor slain ally

The memorial isn’t just drawing crowds, but also pulling in several power players. President Donald Trump is slated to speak, along with Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.

Trump’s inner circle is also set to take the podium, including Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and Deputy Chief Stephen Miller.

Erika Kirk, who has now stepped in to lead Turning Point USA, will also address the audience.

Kirk’s shocking murder on September 10 is still fresh in everyone's memory. The conservative “youth whisperer” was shot dead in broad daylight during a speech to 3,000 students at Utah Valley University that was supposed to be the kickoff of his “American Comeback” tour.

Prosecutors say, Tyler Robinson, 22, pulled the trigger and will face the death penalty if convicted. Robinson allegedly told investigators he was fed up with Kirk’s “hatred.”
