Charlie Kirk shooting suspect Tyler Robinson seen joking with cop after car accident in old bodycam video

WASHINGTON, DC: Tyler Robinson, who is accused of killing conservative activist Charlie Kirk, is back in the headlines. A newly released police bodycam footage shows him involved in a minor car accident three years ago.
The video obtained by Scripps News shows a young Robinson calmly speaking with police at the scene.
The footage offers a glimpse into his personal life and behavior patterns.

New video footage of Tyler Robinson released
Nearly eight minutes of never-before-seen raw footage have been released, showing Robinson patiently speaking with police back in 2022.
He was wearing sunglasses and a hat, an outfit quite similar to what he was reportedly wearing while on the run after allegedly shooting Kirk.

In the new released video, 19-year-old Robinson was questioned by police after his silver Audi collided with a Ford sedan making a left turn at an intersection in St George, Utah.
Robinson explained to the officer, “(The other driver) would’ve been there going left, and as I was coming through, he turned in, and I T-boned into the side of him."
According to the New York Post, Robinson had his brother in the passenger seat during the crash. All three, Robinson, his younger brother, and the other driver walked away uninjured.

He even joked with the officer about topping off his car’s oil just before the accident. “Just as I left the house, I put oil in it, just topped it off,” the young Utah resident said, prompting the officer to reply, “Welcome to real life.”
The footage also shows Robinson’s mother arriving at the scene later with insurance documents to assist.
The police video provides a rare look into Robinson’s life before the violent incident that would later shock the nation
